Excursion in PRO audio (dj and such) is not the top priority, its usually Sensitivity (how loud at a given power) that matters the most. Some rough figures, a Z5500 8" woofer at 100W puts out 118db's at 1 foot while, a 15" peavey Black Widow with 1/2 in XMax (excursion) puts out 127db's @1ft roughly 8 times louder, and to get the z to that volume the wattage would be 800W 5.3 times the max power. Also on the peavey (@350 rms) the z would have to have 3000W to equal the output.
i use the main speaker output for the bass unit and the 2nd output for the treble, gives good control, but i really need a bigger amp...
I know the mainspeaker out put is 150 watss dunno about the 2nd... but it can play really loud anyways so i dont care ;D think its 300 total then.. but dunno
No. They are the same outputs as far as i know. There is no split-up here. It pushes out 150 watts from all the terminals, but you dont plus or divide.
So connecting them with bi-wire cables shouldnt give control or power. Maybe cleaner sound. It would be the same if you took all of them from speaker output A.
The B outputs are only there for a 2nd pair of speakers. But there will still only be 2 x 150 W
where did you get them?

i think they can handle more excursion, they have amp wich suffiecient rms?
i have a z5500 wich is 3x cheaper and it has 2inch excursion, so a cerwin vega should have more i guess ;)
but its nice sistem, thinking about changing also.
