The algorthm that you mentioned in 1:32 can be shortened to R2 U2 R2 U2 R2.

On the R U R' U' case placed to the left or right, thats very slow and very effective to your time. Because you have to do a sledgehammer, then a insert on the other side. You lose your grip once you go for the 3 move insert.
