  • Hey Mark.. Love your vidoes..

I am looking to get a new live setup..

I have an Eleven rack ...

Is the Atomic the best sounding amp to use with a processor?

I am going to get a Fractal II when I get a few more bucks...

Right now I am looking for a power amp for live application..

    Any thoughts?

  • I'll posting this on a about five or six Atomic sites, but so you know:

I'm going to be selling my brand new Atomic Head and Atomic Cab on ebay within the next week if anyone is interested. I made custom covers for 'em too.

  • its a simple preset or you use all the complexity of your fractal?.... i mean, tube bias, low frequency, graphic eq etc, etc.

  • very small stage, you guys look cramped up there

  • Thanks, fucking awesome, man... Your videos were a major influence on me, when I got an Ultra.

  • Fucktatstic tone and playing, Mark! Which amp sim/ IR did you use on this patch?

  • @helterskelter786

    Uber...I think I used a Redwirez Mesa V30 R121 1" off axis

  • the bass sounds awesome

  • ahh sounds like the lynch version..nice

  • Incredible audio and video quality keep up the jams guys.

  • Did you happen to record "No More Tears" that you did that night... that song sounded unbelievable...

  • @mikhael47 Unfortunately, not :(

  • Great sound! but constructive criticism, you guys need to work on your stage presence. Great cover though :)

  • @falconer333

We're old stage presence was 20 years ago :)

  • @samhillband Never too old for stage presence man! Look at Mick Jagger! :P

    P.S. As always, brilliant tone...

  • @falconer333

Mick is rich and has personal trainers and cooks, I work 14 hours a day...lol.

It was the first set and I was playing to a bar chair :)

Oh and Mick didn't have to drive the truck, empty the trailer, setup the PA and his own guitar rig...after working 14 hours...it's a wonder I can even stand up...lol

  • George Lynch's version of the riff ...

  • You are ROCKING Mark! Love the moments of chromaticism at 1:46/1:47. Post this to the Atomic and Fractal facebook pages!

  • killer! different take on one of the all-time classics

amazing tone as always, the new wedges sound badass. *horns up*

  • Did you record No More Tears, if so, post it..

  • Ya, we've spoken before, a few times, I rarely go to that bar, other than to see you guys play... sorry for that double post, but I didn't see your note on the video until after I pressed post LOL...

Your rig sounds unreal... I have a much simpler rig (Les Paul, Mesa Roadster and a delay pedal) but my needs are much less. Your sets are very diverse, you need to call up a whack of sounds at any given time.

    It works quite well!

  • @mikhael47

I'm glad you like the rig :) I actually use the same dirty preset most of the night, one that is a little louder for solos and a Van Halen preset with a different delay and a phaser :) It's actually really simple

    Mark

  • I was there on Saturday Night, your FOH sound was HUGE!! In the first set you were a bit boomy (guitar) and it was really loud, but once people started filtering in, the sound got absorbed and it was perfect. Man you guys really sounded good... So jealous!!

  • @mikhael47

I actually turned my guitar down between sets and pulled out some bass with the AxeFx's Global EQ. I was really loud in the first set...lol. First weekend using the wedges so I was doing some tweaking.

You should have introduced yourself....love to talk gear at gigs. :)

    Mark

  • I was there on saturday. Where the wedges providing your guitar's FOH sound, or were you direct / mic'd throught the PA system??

  • @mikhael47

I ran a direct line to the FOH from the Wedge's parallel IN/Out jacks so essentially it is a direct out from the AxeFx into the FOH mixer.

    Mark

  • maaan mark, this is a huugeee sound !

  • I'm a huge Fan of the Sabbath.

You haven't got Iommi's Style, but it's a pretty nice version.

    I love your sound Mark :) .

  • @TOTOsupra It's actually a rip-off of a Lynch Vince Neal thing :)

    Mark

  • no no no no... don't mess with classic...

  • @SwampySi its refreshing to the stale old repeats everyones putting out surely?

  • i like the more modern tone and playing, nice fills etc.
