I beat this game after 14 years. This game, is the best in my opinion, and it's my personal favourite. Completing it is not an easy task. I would suggest using a walkthrough. If you wanna know how to beat it by visual, go look for Horsie111's videos.

The woods are spooky and way way back in those days they were wild and untamed. Before the Romans came this game could of been what your back garden looked like!
This game is ridiculously difficult. I loved the graphics and music but it was just flat out the most difficult game I ever played. If there's a hell for videogamers this will be the game they'd have to play for all eternity.
This game brings back a lot of memories. I had an Amiga 500 and a few years later moved up to an A3000 with 52 meg Quantum SCSI HD. I still remember loading this Shadow of the Beast disk. That had to be about a good 12-13 years ago.
You did quite well mate, the castle was not far off the horizon. But yeah, you needed the key anyway which is held underground the other direction, which I sure you knew xP
The blimps represent the awareness of civilised races (humans) becoming aware of this ancient land. They wouldn't land for obvious reasons but that won't stop them spying on the activities in great awe, amazement and wonder - before they start bombing lol.

Wrong way dude! Everyone knows you have to go left. Even though when I was learning to beat the game I would practice going right. I've still never beat the amiga version without cheating...the three headed dragon gets me every time. And I've been practicing for 15 years. So don't feel bad. Except about going right. You should feel bad about that.

odd, the audio is in sync in my origianl file.. youtube's conversion process seems to have made the audio out of sync :(
(also, dont ask me why I jumped while in the bunch of eyes lol)
