Medal of Honor was a test to see how Battlefield 3 might work. There are similarities to both the Frostbite and F2.0 engines. Plus they may have needed some extra funds to keep producing BF3 so they took part in MoH.

You've gotta watch these guys, they aren't your average camper that moves around to different "campsites". The balance of the weapons in black ops (also if you think of the year the game is supposed to take place in) are very VERY similar, TOO balanced in fact. In reality, there WOULD be unbalanced weapons. Very much so, and MW2 had the POTENTIAL to be more realistic, but people decided to make it a clusterfuck of rushes, quickscopers, grenade/rocket noobs, and the rest of people who tryed to do better. READ THIS ALL MEDAL OF HONOR HATERS: the trick to being good at this game is to stay hidden and not go running out guns blazing, that is the reason why you get killed so fast and you don't know what the fuck is goin on and don't know where they are. trust me and give it another shot :D
