great video and a great car, I was at the Ultima factory last year and it is so good to see the cars in the states...there are some good comments on this page too, people who go on about the Veyron will probably never see one let alone drive one, yes the Ultima is the real deal
im a fan of the beaugatti veyron becuase it pushed the limits, the car was purely made for topspeed. The veyron is extreamly poor at handeling which is much of dissapointment, so for sheer excitement the ultima wins, not for looks - the ultima is hiddious and the veyrons frount is a bit 'how you going'.
Ultima > Veyron, no question. How many people are really going to take a car up to that speed anyway? Who or what are you racing in a street car that you need those extra 30mph (besides this event, of course)? The Veyron is a great engineering exercise, but it's pig ugly. Most people that own one will probably never take it above 150 anyway.
Well if you're on a budget, obviously the Ultima would be preferable, but if I had 1000 hp trying to get to the ground I woulnd't want anything less than 4wd. Plus the Veyron looks a whole lot cooler. And 30mph is a pretty big difference, but I'll wait until Top Gear finally puts one around their track to see which one is better
lol well duh u would want 4wd but might as well have someone make ya a system for it. theres a place that did an awd ultima with twin turbo hayabusa engines. 30 mph matters when its a big percentage. if u got a ride in either one, u wouldnt care which one u got to own becuase the looks and awd just arent worth it.

Please RWD is lighter, and has less drive train loss.
Most of the worlds best Supercars are RWD for a reason. With proper suspension and tires you can get any car to hook on the track or strip with RWD and you get less weight and less power loss for your efforts.
Nice video. Frankly speaking, I doubt anyone on youtube could handle an Ultima at speed so don't waste your breath trying to defend it. Around the world it gets acclaim because of what it does. The Ultima is the real deal....

True, this car is much much cheaper, but the Veyron can hit 250mph right out of the showroom with no NOS.

the veyron has twice the turbos, twice the cylinders, twice the drive wheels (4wd), twice the WEIGHT, almost half the MPG, and 14 times the price!
so the veyron goes 30 mph faster. is it worth it?
oh and the Ultima doesnt have NOS so idk y u would bring that up....
