The keyboard is really easy to use. Im 14 and i kuv emailing and texting. I do it all the time and i have to admit that the keyboard was hard to type on at first but i got used to it and im very fast at it. I had a Blackberry and sidekick before this and i luv the iPhone's keyboard a whole lot better.
wait...iono I tried the demo in the store and it was hard as hell to type the right letters since they are so close together. This is my main issue with the iphone...does it really just take time to get used to? did you feel as clumsy as I did when you first used it?
very nice, but i will differ from a person to another, some people will freak bcz there is nothing physical to touch, and others have big thumbs.. but in general i dont think its a problem, even people will big thumbs will face the same difficulty with physical keyboards, anyway i think its more mental issue.
Yea, I have never typed on a virtual keyboard before other than ATMs, so I was kinda worried about that too. But as soon as I picked it up and sent a few text messages, it actually feels so much better. It almost feel like your fingers are gliding as oppose to punching. Maybe that's what make fast typing possible
What some people may not realize is that the sensitivity area for each letter constantly re-sizes on the fly depending on what you're typing. So say if you start typing the word 'time"...when you get to the letter m, since there are no common words spelled timr or timw the sensitivity areas for the 'w' and the r' gets smaller while the sensitivity area for the letter e gets larger. That's pretty cool.
wtf thats slow as hell!
