Why is it necessary to tell me who you sleep with? Why is it necessary to show this is grade schools? Why is your sexuality important to anyone other than the one that love you? Help me understand the dynamics of exposing ones sexual orientation to all. Does human existence become nothing more than your preference for a sexual partner?
@ReelvisionFilms I think you're missing the point... This is more about gender and social expectations of gender much more than it is about sexual orientation.
It's funny how nature works... Male penguins watch the eggs until they hatch, male seahorses are the gender that cares the eggs (get pregnant) until they hatch. Snails are gender neutral. They can be female or male when it comes time to mate. Some creatures (not just plants) are asexual.
So yes NATURE has created categories for us, its up to us to determine which category we fall into to.
"society's obsession with gender and forcing people into categories" you mean male/female categories? its NATURE that created these categories, not society, stop revolting against nature.
And yes, if I cant opt out my children from watching things like this in schools, then it IS being forced on me.
this movie played at our little local theater downtown last night. it was INCREDIBLE and im so grateful it was shown, it enlightened so many people. i loved it.
This is awesome. I consider myself ambigender and I really get the whole gender messages and people often try to force me into one box or the other. I've been forced to wear dresses by some women and pants and army boots by some men. It's cool to see other people like me.
No one is forcing anything on you. You didn't even have to watch this if you really didn't want to. The documentary isn't even primarily about supporting LGBT people, it's about society's obsession with gender and forcing people into categories.
Please, inform me, why is this even considered unnatural? Why is stepping outside gender roles such a huge issue?
This is such an amazing documentary. Every teenager, parent, teacher, social worker, medical professional, activist, policy maker, journalist and everyone else must see this! Really opens your eyes to the pressures young people face every day, and the difficulty of just being yourself. Thanks, Groundspark!

The agenda of special interest groups to force unnatural behavior on the rest of us is disgusting!
Many things belong in the privacy of your home, and this is surely one of them!

gender is a performance moron...what you think is natural is merely a performance...
