Ok people have their facts wrong let me clear it up. All these facts are about MODERN sounds, by modern i mean 2009 and up.

First of all, this song is HARD TRANCE, not techno.

TECHNO focuses on heavy kicks and hard drum loops, little to no vocals involved.

TRANCE focuses on layers of synth sounds and constant melodic loops, fast repeating bass lines, less influence on drums, and little to no vocals involved.

VOCAL TRACE same as trance but with voices

All Electronic music are related,and Techno is influence by House,while Trance is the variant of Techno.Each EDM has a different tempo and melodic style,although Trance has a strong essence of House.However I must say without House,there will be almost no other EDM that will survive till today.

Trance is a different style of Techno, but it is still technically techno and an EDM. It is a category of techno, and trance uses the basic parts of techno, house, etc., and then some for the trance music. Think of it as categories. For Techno, it's like schranz, trance, hard trance, etc. They all come from the same source: Techno. It's called Trance to imply the state of consciousness due to the ability of this kind of music. Appreciate all kinds of EDM. Why fight over everything?
