Accidentally, I bought a kit from a dishonest person from "landroverexport " that you were referring to in your comment and now I'm rebuilding that engine completely as it was a big disappointment. I wish I came across your site prior to buying that kit.

Iam about to start and convert my range rover classic 1988, trassmision should be fine with a diesel engine?? Any suggestion to buy a diesel engine? Or should i go with your description?

I regret scrapping my rangerover, it had a landrover 200tdi engine conversion, the tdi was standard fitment by landrover on later models.

Tdi has 111bhp and 200lb/ft and over 30mpg.

What mpg did u get ?

There is no conversion for biodiesel, it's diesel, period. You only need to convert if you want to run vegetable oil, you have to heat it first, thats all.

my bad i meant vegetable oil i think you also have to run a regular diesel tank for start up at least in cold weather conditions and to flush the lines because used veggie oil clots.
