Hey can anyone send some info my way about any airsoft clubs/events in Florida? Trying to get into the sport, just need a point in the right direction. Also, are there any alternnative to Hi-Cap mags that you have to wind? I friggin hate having to wind my mag in the middle of a fight... Thanks in advance.

Sorry don't know about any in Florida. I live in Illinois. About the mags though, you can get mid-caps that hold about 70-80 rounds that you dant have to wind. Most airsoft events let you have 1 hi-cap (wind up) and as many mid-caps as you want. You just have to carry around a few extra mags. And depending on what kinda gun you have you can also buy them seperately or in boxes of like 5 10 or 20.

i for myself have a m16a4 with scope and i love that thing, but some friends of mine do have the scoped versions of the g36c l85a1 and the steyr aug that are fine as well.

i like those guns because they are pretty compacted and have an integrated scope!

Another ting : Is the spray guns like m4, m16, p90 etc. hae the same FPS and accuracy of a sniper. If yes, should I buy a snipe or a spray gun ? If no, is it better to be more accurate and camp or to have a little bit less of accuracy and rush ?

I don't know of any sites that are 100% reliable, personally I always question myself when I buy from sites that are in china. About the guns, usually snipers have a higher FPS and longer range, but there are drawbacks, At an event like thunder or any by SLE, a sniper (above 400fps below 500fps) can only engage his target at a minimum of 100 feet. Personally I would start off with an M14, M16, M4, AK, ect. Then move on to getting a sniper.

I buy my airsoft stuff from this sight called AirsoftGI. I never buy airsoft guns over five hundred bucks online but I don't worry about reliability much more than that. If I were you I'd buy a spray gun, like an M16 or a G36. I've always bought machine guns.

ill tell you that the retractable stock is much better cause its more versitale. but as for the guns you can get a retractable stock on an m-16 as well as an m-4 and there both about the same shooting wise as long as there basic specs are the same fps, length, gearbox, company etc

I hate to be the odd man out, and I dont mean to put down m4's or m16s, but in my opinion everyone and there grandma has an m4, ive been airsofting for about 2 years now and I still do not own an m4, I own an ikazuchi or whatever the hell it is, but I dont consider it an m4, my first gun was the jg g36c, I would highly recommend this product to you because it has more mag capacity than an m4 and seems to be more versatile because of the folding stock. but m4s are possibly the most upgradeable.

I know that silencers are pointless in air soft, you pretty much have to make your own, unless buy them that come with one, that actually works. even in real steel silencers, its not supposed to silence a gun, its supposed to make it sound like something totally different from a gun.

well they arn't "pointless". if you want a longer barrel for more accuracy but you dont want long tube sticking out the end of your gun the you put a silencer on it to hide the inner barrel

ONLY thing I dont like about airsoft is when people have airsoft wars and say their using a G&G GR16-A2, they use the HI-CAP magazines and dont reload after like 100 rounds. I like to play realistic and only put 30 rounds in the magazines, or on a Western Arms Beretta M9A1, I just put 15 rounds in the magazine like real life.

the problem is that real bullets can cut through much more material and shrubbery and has more range and accuracy than our bb's... so 30rnds of plastic bb's is about equivelent to like 5 rounds from a real firearm. airsoft takes much more ammo to get kills than real life. im not siding with n e one tho. i like both

Tell them to spend $30 dollars on a small electric auto (Dicks and sometime Wal/K-mart sell them) and play in a small confined area with lots of cover. Maybe play last man standing or a version capture the flag. Start out cheap and see how it goes from there. Most people I know started out with a pistol for fun, then when they got into it, they kept it with them for back-up.
