However, didnt you get the boxes wrong. shouldnt the cow be on the bottom left? (low industry growth rate and high market share)

  • fucking briliant. tnks a mill..

  • video not bad, however it'd be awesome to define market share and growth even tho it's obvious just to keep us on track. furthermore, it was reaaaalyyyyyy lame and cheesy, cut down on that it makes it distasteful

  • Thank u, nice explanation! :)

  • Everyone is in Marketing - Makes good point showing marketing has moved out of Marketing department with CRM, IT, web managers, affiliate sellers, social media, customers spouting marketing messages even operations has messaging responsibility/capability as shown in graphic 5.3 at here customerworthy (dot com) /cxc-matrix. Curious what actions marketers take to manage, influence, measure mkt?

  • Thanx alot .. i got IB B&M exam in about 6 hours from now!

  • Like your Product Lifecycle video, it is very weel explained.

CAUTION : for those of you who want to reproduce the matrix in your exam, the example that is shown (from 3:20 on to 5:30) is wrongly oriented, you actually have to turn it 90° to the left, so that the star is on the upper-left box. Thus, you have the relative market share on the horizontal axis (high on the left, low on the right) and the market's growth rate on the vertical axis (high on the top, low on the bottom).

  • It's all about the marketing strategy.

  • awesome! thanks so much!!!!!!

  • great explanation.. very useful video.
