It was after Badab Wars...Huron Blackhearth looks for a battleship to conquer..and Space Wolves were nearby.

It is whole story,almost all of them fight to death,but almost...there were some renegades.

You'd have to work it out with the people involved, they don't really fit in on either side - imperium or chaos.

Totally sweet battle. I've seen a couple similiar ones, haven't participated much but I'm aching for a good chance to whip out the ol' Imperial Fists.

Damn, apocolyps looks incredible, but there is a few questions i want answered before i play one.1- are the Tau able to play in a game that usualy has Space and Chaos marines, Imperial gaurd, Orcs, and Tyrinids?

2- is a 2500+ army able to particapate?

3- will their b punch?

wow...it must take at least a year to create, build, and fully paint your army...and i guess once your army has its paint done, you cant change it unless you want to spend another year on it...lol. and silentpete01, you cannot play with a 2500 point army. 3000 at the least.

We wanted to be able to incorporate anybody who wanted to play into the game. It was a storewide, annual event so it wouldn't be fair to leave people out simply because they chose one army over the other. The forces were made of a general "Order" vs. "Disorder" side, of which all armies were easily able to be placed. Following the Apocalypse rulebook exactly is not a necessity to have a fun Apocalypse-based game.

At one time there was a similar game out called "Ogre" put out by Steve Jackson games. Predated Warhammer 40k by several years though.

ice9fetus81, it's called using your imagination. Not all of us plays world of warcraft or other forms of entertainment that doesn't allow you to see the person you're playing with. Some of us likes human contact.

well each figure can move a certain distance in inches, but chooting an fighting hand to hand is really complex- so kinda yes and kinda no at the same time lol

All the rules come in one rulebook for generic rules and army specific rulebooks (called a codex) for separate rules. Dice are used to randomize whether shots or close combat attacks hit and do damage. Every different model has usually very different rules and you use your codex to figure out what each model can do.

I love modeling and painting, reading novels, and making little epic dioramas. And I enjoy playing small skirmish games with my friends. But damn, I will NEVER EVER EVER play an apocalypse game. It'd KILL me. It'd take too long... gahhh...

Only thing that destroyed my interest in all this were the unbearably high prizes, that games workshop has on it's products... those greedy little... I just don't have the money!

you just got to play up to the IG's good abilities like the numbver of men they can feild along with all those sweet special weapons, then you gte some commissars and tanks and you have a very formidable force

I have some musings; I understand Orks being recruited into the forces of Chaos and there ARE renegade Space Wolves (Mark of the Wolfen must have badly addled their heads), but Necrons?? You are going to have a good reason for them siding with Chaos.

generally, you just base it off of already existing models... otherwise, there are VDR (vehicle design rules) things available. there was one in (i think) imperial armour, and if not, file sharing networks have 'em. you still need your opponent's permission, otherwise it's going to be a bit unfare.
