One day, we were on our way to Six Flags for the members night, so we had to take my dog, Lucy to my father's house. She saw another dog and took off, yanking out of the leash, and darting torwards the street. The dog passed, and as Lucy was crossing the street, a truck ran by and hit her. My friend and her family came and helped me make a grave for her just 20 minutes past the thought of having fun at Six Flags, comming home to a silly little yellow lab.
I have a cat rescue, and so many wonderful little kids have touched my heart as they passed, and hopefully they knew that they were loved and cherrished here at the ranch. Many, who were very sick and ferral (hated people) let me pet them and tickle their backs, some let me hold them. You see it in their eyes and facial expressions, and when they pass, I put them so they can be in the sun and look out at the lake. So many loved ones have passed. I love everyone of them.

I lost my little soulmate chloe 7 weeks ago, she was days away from death from kidney failure and i made the heartbreaking decision to save her from having to endure those last painful days. i held her while the vet helped her pass peacefully. it broke my heart and i will forever love and miss her. perhaps you could do a little volunteer work, in his memory. because getting a new companion animal - some people can do it right away & others - like me - need to wait awhile, while grieving.

i had move somewere we could only have little dogs but cody although small was blinded and almost fully deaf.. 14yrs old..and had to supervised at all times..so i could not take him..my grandma had him..it had been a while since my last visit..and when i called to let her know i was on my way..and my grandmother told me cody had passed in his sleep..and that it happend the week befor and she did not call me because she tought it would be easier for me if i didnt know till after they buried him

my dog gabby had passed away from pancreatitis in a vets office alone in the middle of the night the only thing comforting her was her blanket i never got to say my goodbye...she will be forever missed i grew up with her always around it's very hard to see something you loved so dearly be taken. Dogs are here on earth to bring us joy, not burdens. They smile when you smile, they're sad when you're sad. I just wish so many people would understand that when you get a dog they're yours for the next 10-15 years. You can't just give them away when you move, they know you don't want them. They get broken hearts like we do. God made them to show us how to love without words. 9 times out of 10 dogs are better than people!

Dogs are really our companions, they love, they hurt, they cry.. people really don't get that. My uncle's dog was a part of our family for 14 years, and it hurts me so much to see my uncle without him..

I had a cat Tokey(toe-key), we had him for 11 years. We had to put him down because of cancer in his eye. I didint even get to say goodbye.

Well, tonight is my friend's night to go, and I am saddened that I will have to live without my faithful great friend. He's been such a good learner and taught me so very much about life, love, giving, sharing and unconditional love. Humans aren't all they think they might be. OMG! I can so feel for you. I lost my Shih-tzu who was 16 years old 4 years ago. The pain was overwhelming. I was lost. He was my sons baby. I miss him each and every day. I cried and cried. I cannot believe the heartache that we all still feeling.I hope that there is a Rainbow Heaven. I cannot bear thinking that we will never see him "Buddy" again.

My kitten passed on a year ago. Her name was Mittens. I got her on Christmas and loved her with all my heart. One day, I wa walking up from my friends house when My mom told me she was killed by pitbulls. My puppy, Lily, who was abused with her old family found love with me. She was hit by a car not to long ago. I miss them every day, and pray I can see them once again... RIP Mittens and Lily! I love and miss yall! <3 :'(

you are being merciful, it's better than letting him suffer. i've been there & feel your pain. try not to feel guilty, he'd do it for you ( i'm pretty sure).
perhaps you could do a little volunteer work, in his memory. because getting a new companion animal - some people can do it right away & others - like me - need to wait awhile, while grieving.

i had move somewere we could only have little dogs but cody although small was blinded and almost fully deaf.. 14yrs old..and had to supervised at all times..so i could not take him..my grandma had him..it had been a while since my last visit..and when i called to let her know i was on my way..and my grandmother told me cody had passed in his sleep..and that it happend the week befor and she did not call me because she tought it would be easier for me if i didnt know till after they buried him

my dog gabby had passed away from pancreatitis in a vets office alone in the middle of the night the only thing comforting her was her blanket i never got to say my goodbye...she will be forever missed i grew up with her always around it's very hard to see something you loved so dearly be taken. Shes sufferred with the intense pain for two days before ending her life sadly. I love you Gabby so so much and i will never forget you... gob bless your soul <3 good bye angel <3

Dogs are here on earth to bring us joy, not burdens. They smile when you smile, they're sad when you're sad. I just wish so many people would understand that when you get a dog they're yours for the next 10-15 years. You can't just give them away when you move, they know you don't want them. They get broken hearts like we do. God made them to show us how to love without words. 9 times out of 10 dogs are better than people!
