By the way it supposed to accomodate 5 fans, 2 can be lined up on one off the cables that has twin plug heads. WOuld it be possible to input more on the same line, thus grouping fans into zones by splitting cables ("Fan x" representing from then on a group of fans for a given zone, not just one fan)? I don't know about this, but It's worth the try...
I'm not aware of any controllers which will speed up/down fans based on temperature of certain components (except for motherboard headers). But I would think some fan controllers have it as a feature.
hey I have a quick Question. I just ordered this fan controller and I have Noticed that every video on you tube no one has there 4th fan hooked up to the Cpu Fan? Is it because you want the motherboard to control the CPU fan speed?
you can actually cram a 3 pin connector in there if you like, just make sure the 3 pin goes over the black, red and yellow wires and not the blue, dont hold me responsible if you connect it the wrong way :P but yeah works on mine no problem as long as you leave the blue wire alone
almost 200w of power just for 3 fans OMG

I don't know for the other guys.. but my fan isn't a PWM fan. It's a normal 120mm case fan attached to a heatsink.
