The only reason I come to youtube is to add to my collection!

  • Boston is the GREATEST band ever, not only did they pioneer a new era in music, but they also were instrumental in killing disco-we need another band like them to eradicate rap and the little sissy shit stuff (Justin Bieber) and whore pop (Lady Gaga)

  • Okay! If I have red Mustang 289 hp the only music is THE BOSTON ! Or heavy metal

  • My favorite band of '77' cruising in my Candy Apple Red Mustang. I was 17 and enjoying so much at that time. These guys rode along with me when I couldn't drive 55!

  • Sincerely I hate to comment on this, but you've got the wrong album cover. This comes from 3rd stage. Not their 1st album.

  • this song is dedicated to my CAR!! as it likes to overheat on me these days. lol

  • When u see this comment give a moment of silence o brad delp R.I.P

  • What is it with music today??? This is what I was grown up with!!

  • youtube.com/watch?v=JCl2Z6koHyk

  • This song relaxes me and pumps me up at the same time if that makes any sense

  • @TheHomerboi thats what this entire genre does for me.

  • brad delp´s voice was so powerful and fantastic our good lord called him, the world lost a great musician and the heaven earned a rock star forever :D

  • @ColoqueNombreAqui Pretty sure the lord didn't call him. Brad took himself out of this world,...didn't he? Its unfortunate he did that, because he could still have been performing today and living life.

  • Damm right.

  • do not BBQ inside the house

  • 2:05 : - )

  • RIP Brad. Your Music will life forever!

  • @DokkenMcleod We the rockers of the world must make sure this music never dies and it surelly wont Brothers And Sisters of Rock and Roll if you love Rock and Roll i like you

  • One more thing, the album cover art was way better back then too!!

  • Oh, does this ever bring back memories! Back in the late 80's, me, my girlfriend and her little sister used to rock out to Boston on the way to get pizza on Friday nights. Thanks for posting this!

  • love your you tube name ''squeeze my lemon til the juice runs down my leg'' i dont know if thats the song your referencing but still great song.

  • RIP The Nicest Guy in Rock 'n Roll. Damn, what a loss.

  • Lord....Give us back Brad Delp and the 70's let us stay there and we give you..

Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Adam Lambert and everyone from American Idol

  • @40Rtruss Hell yeah,lol!

  • @40Rtruss Im so adding that to my prayers everyday hahahha

  • @40Rtruss i'm a few years older than you but i was in high school in the 70's and graduated in '81. can you imagine what absolute stunned, speechless horror an Adam Lambert would have generated? Well that's when men were expected to have male attributes like chest hair. (say it aint so!!)

  • @40Rtruss but you still are missing all the songs that came out after the 70's

  • @40Rtruss lol too bad hes not dumb enough to trade back AWESOMENESS for 2 fags and a tranny

  • @40Rtruss wow god is gettin the shit end of that trade

  • @klipklop100 not really, he would do what everyone else would do...Torture them with their own songs, and every other way imaginable.

  • @klipklop100 no doubt bieber and lambart wouldnt make a pimple on brads ass lol

  • @klipklop100 so. whats your point?

  • @klipklop100 God? meh...purgatory will have a nice young boy for all those wicked pedo priests! HAHA!

  • @klipklop100 god would just send them all to hell O_o

  • @40Rtruss I like lady gaga. =l

  • @Taeryth me too but for a nice hard asshole fuck yeaaahhh

  • @SuperArschloch3000 that's the only hole he's got

  • @Taeryth Well, that's a bit unfortunate isn't it......

  • @40Rtruss dont give them steven tyler..

  • @40Rtruss Throw in Dio too and we'll give you everyone from every boyband ever.

  • @40Rtruss And every rap crap slip slop nursery rhyme ever concieved since the 80's

  • @SouthernBreeze there isnt nothing wrong with rap man just modern day rap is getting bad. you're probably an older man though who grew up listening to this music. i grew up to the modern crap like souljaboy, justin bieber, jonas brothers, lil wayne, etc. you just need to cool the engines man. 90s rap isnt bad in fact its was the best kinda of like 60s and 70s rocks is the best. i know you probably will still dislike rap but it isnt all bad. classic rock is very good though

  • @Woz814 man. finally someone said the true here. unfortunately in these days people forgot what is real music, the real talent. the real rap is nice, but who do that nowadays? even rock, the bands that is released , just a little we can say that is good or amazing, a little bit!

  • agree with you 100 percent its hard finding people who make good honest music these days smh. evrybody is about money in all music genres

  • @40Rtruss Make that everyone from every Idol or similar program in the world

  • @40Rtruss you are inspired man!

  • @40Rtruss

Actually, Boston was like a saving grace from disco, which had made all music suck into a black hole. Boston brought it back to life. I remember driving around in my all--carpeted Dodge van, smokin a fat doob and listing to the 1st BGoston album thinking 'THIS music is ME!'. God, it was great! Saw them live in '77 (I think...maybe 78) in Mobile, AL., of all places.

  • @40Rtruss how the hell is that a fair trade? we get the 70's and they get crap

  • @40Rtruss haha don't forget george harrison and john lennon.

  • He was able to achieve those easy sounding highs in the studio with ether and a few takes but I agree, best rock and roll voice in the universe. Also the biggest Beetles fan ever, his cover band, Beetle Juice, was doing great when he died. RIP

  • @spalkin > Man, YOU must be sniffin' the Ether, Bro! Brad was a firm believer in a drug-free lifestyle, and I think it is insulting to smear his quite natural talent with such drivel...you should be ashamed of yourself! Now, go put on "Don't Look Back" and kneel before the speaker and pray for his forgiveness!!! I'm sure he'll understand whatever weak excuse you give him for speaking so poorly of him!!! <

  • @spalkin Lol are you serious?? At the ver very most he might have smoked a little pot back in the 70's man and thats a mabey. Just thining cause he wrote the lyrics for party.

    But wow man check yourself.

  • I do love this song (1986)

  • when i first moved in with my now wife and son all the music he had known was country, so i made him a "tub tape" with songs like this that rocked but were easy to sing to, to this day he still knows the words and buys his own boston cd's.

  • the best of de the best thanks for this great song

  • Awesome song, better than those stupid rap songs

  • I forgot how much this song kicks ass.

  • I seriously want this song played at my funeral..

  • God rest ya Brad, you will be dearly missed

  • Rock lost a musical icon with the passing of Brad Delp. His vocal arrangements were way ahead of the times, his range unsurpassed. I challenge any singer of the modern era to match his quality and his depth. I will miss his voice, yet thank God we have the Web for him to live on in perpetuity. God Speed, Brad---Heaven has it's turn in hearing the Angel sing!!!

  • Great intro to any and all Boston.

  • This is the type of rock that I really enjoy. Many people just go wit tha times and whats hot at the moments but I go for what sounds true from the heart and what is real music. The reason why people can enjoy many old rock hits is simply becuase the quality and sound and rhythm is classic and timeless.

  • KKKKKKKOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL!!!!!!

  • i think it is the soul of voices, with the bass and the fact that we sing the truth of what we do not want to live up to but the release of the truth , not known'n it..the release is in the freedom of emotions and feelings of satisfaction when sung out load....put yet holds us to sound ground, that witch we live everyday, and WALK!

  • roudy1689 - It's OK (About the guitars/spaceships thing) I graduated in 80 and it was years before I realized it too! They could have smeared dirty diapers on their album covers and it wouldn't have made any diff to me!

  • Una de las mejores bandas que ha podido existir en este universo. Es una lastima la perdida de Brad Delp pero hay que seguir adelante. Entiendo que estaban en gestion de sacar una nueva produccion. Boston "THE BEST"

  • Hell Yeah,,2 Thumbs Up !!!

  • I love the lick at 1:21 SOOO much! Fuck it, I love this whole song. Scholz, Delp, and crew rocked the world, and are still going strong.

  • i've looked at this spaceship picture for years and it was just now i realized they are guitars

  • no matter what song of the 80's I play. I always read great feed back. it is so refreshing.sweet.

  • why with a voice like brad would you kill yourself.i dream of a voice like that.just dont understand.

  • whats all this tom sholz rock god shit. , its just another sound on another guitar fuck sholz,

  • @donteventry99 you can do better?

  • @skitfel Nobody cans.Awesome!!!!! My life soundtrack ...

  • That's the wrong album art for this song's album.

  • Their album art alone were pretty sick.

  • Lovin' the lick at 1:21 :D

  • The lick at 1:21 gives me chills. LOVE this song :D

  • The first two albums posessed an energy that was unheard of during that time. Their guitar player Scholz (sp?) was a graduate of MIT, and used his knowledge of electronics engineering to pioneer a whole new world of sound technology. Has anyone ever heard of the "Rockman" amplifiers, they truly are just as amazing as this band was. The first two albums were ahead of their time because this band produced sounds and effects using standard equipment, where other bands were having to synthesize.

  • rodahanz6910

Your so right. Their sound is so unique that I can identify a Boston song from just a few cords

  • a few years back, went to a night club.there was a band from baltimor playing. after a few minutes they playd this very song. after a few minutes. I thout oh! my god! theese musicians are good. wow. they plaid about 7 songs. including waisted years. as good as the cover. wow! if any one would like to know the name of the band. just ask.

  • they played 7 songs. plaid is a clothing design, not play in the past tense

  • Lord I miss the classic rock bands and those days

  • Did anyone watch SGC2C - "Curling Flower Space"?

  • @justinbieberlover892

really? ouch that mustve been painful why not just shoot yourself?

  • If you have to go that is probably one of the least painful ways...you basically go to sleep and not wake up !

  • Brad Delp was the greatest rock voice ever. Probably no coincidence that he also happened to be in the greatest band ever.

  • Comment removed

  • locked himself in a bathroom or somethin and killed himself with carbon monoxide? I dont really remember actually what happened.

  • I'm a Boston fan from way back when they first started performing

  • Wrong albumcover. But sweeeeeeet song.

  • brad delp had the besdt damn voice in any rock band i had heard may he rest in peace.

  • hes great but Freddie Mercury is too great

  • @jbs4065 its sad....he killed himself, but he was such a nice person that he left a note outside of the house warning people of harmful fumes. (asphyxiation) great guy.

  • Comment removed

  • @jbs4065 you damn right, sad not here

  • @jbs4065 woah woah let's not be too hasty here now, good sir.

  • @jbs4065

He doesn't quite beat Steve Perry in my book, but he's pretty darn close!

  • @dokkenfan45 WTF are you talking about? COWBELL? WHERE? DO yo uthink we're all stupid & that you're referencing A SNL joke of B.O.C.'s "don't fear the reaper"? What's wrong w/ u? That is such bad taste/karma. You must be a kid, at least in your head. You're a loser who isn't worthy to SMELL BRAD'S SH*T. check your history, find out whats going on B4 u open your mouth & have respect for the dead, phuquefase. If you have balls, email me ur #n private to discuss it, f u have juevos.

  • Comment removed

  • i honestly dont see what about this comment put Veez's ball in a twist.

anyways, wicked fucking song. one of my favorites from boston. thank you for posting this.

  • @RavenousMedicine Same here. And dokkenfan45, you have the right to joke as much as you want. That's what it WAS. A JOKE. Not a big deal.

This is a really badass song. Though actually it took a bit of time to grow on me. I didn't really start to like it until I bought the Boston greatest hits album.

And let's face it, EVERY song could use some more cowbell!

  • Comment removed

  • Boston simply has (d) natural talent. It can't get any better. I wish they woul d have released more albums back in the day but I am perfectly happy with this.

  • fuck i think i'm gonna go get drunk after this! never heard boston before

  • Brad rules.Boston rule.Cool the engines rules.Let's rock! dudes

  • ...Classic Sonic Alchemy...

  • Thanks to webmeister SqueezeMyLemonBabe & all you people out there, Brad will still live on for a very long time.

  • i thinked he killed himself cause he was depressed but whatever the reason we will miss him

  • he died in 2007

  • boston what a awesome rockband they were R.I.P Brad Delp what a shame to kill himself .

    what was the reason for?

to much pressure or no success anymore or drugs or too much alcohol or maybe a women or no money? who knows

but if one of these things happened to him thats not worth it to kill his own life my goodness.Life goes on today is a shid day and tomorrow is a nice day thats life

  • His life was just not the way he wanted it to be. You can feel free to ask all these obnoxious questions, but i almost went through with killing myself. Its just because you can't handle life anymore, and im sure it was completely personal.

  • man, cant shake that solo at 3 seconds in. probably one of my favorite boston songs...

  • Hello!

I'LL NEVER FORGET WHEN I (we) WENT TO ATTEND ONE OF THEY CONCERTS IN 2000. IT WAS ME, MY WIFE, AND A COUPLE OF HER FRIENDS. WE DROVE IN MY WIFE'S '99 PONTIAC TRANS AM FIREBIRD w/THE TOP DOWN.(but we had to fit 4 full-grown adults) WHEN WE GOT THERE, WE COULDN'TVE HAD A BETTER TIME. BEERS WERE ON ME AND EACH OF US HAD 2 BEFORE THE 1ST SONG ENDED(this song). FORTUNATELY, NONE OF US WERE HEAVILY ALCOHOLED BY THE END, BUT I GOT TO DRIVE THE 'BIRD BACK HOME. NOW THAT'S A GOOD TIME!
