  • underground for life!!!!!!!

  • weird ass begining

  • lyrically, this is one of the best songs of all time.

    in my opinion.

  • we are your rebel army

  • wat kind of native tribe is that in the begining of the song?

    ....

  • @dadurtydistrict cherokee

  • @quaid2012 how sure are you of that? someone said it was peruvian

  • @tehgreatist i work with a man of cherokee heritage and him and his wole family can speak it. he translated it for me when it first came out and i showed it to him.

  • @quaid2012 im too high to tell if youre trolling damnit.

    unlikely but possible story

  • @quaid2012 alright, what does it mean then?

  • @tehgreatist i dont understand what he is chanting but it sounds like many native american chants im cree so i heard a few there is also another video with a translation

  • @tehgreatist Lakota Sioux Chant

    Wankan Tanka(great spirit),

    Tunkasila(grandfather),

    Onsimalayo(take pity on us),

  • @NativePrideification thank you

  • @NativePrideification who the fuck do u know this???

  • @quaid2012 than what does it mean?

  • @BlackKarat3. In wush' Taj oh in wa'nab, cha' tay ne a ba! ( my brother or sister, take care of yourself!) In the Can'jubal dialect desde las aldeas indigenas de Guatemala!

  • @mayan002 sorry bro i understand our language but cant speak it

  • @colqaddafi..true true but once a Centro Americano or Sur Americano explains why he/she said that (without any offense towards the Mexican community) than the individual with a Mexican nationality understands. Worst thing is when Raza fights one another. Entre la union esta el poder... or so it is said.

  • @airborne4lf. I Re-read my first post. I can tell why u thought of me as a "racist". My bad, I should have worded it better.

  • @BlackKarat3.. that's what's up man, lets acknowledge our gente.

  • @mayan002 YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • track gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it...

  • Creative, intelligent, and lyrical genius...poet of our time

  • @airborne4lf... actually, I'm far from a racist. I am from Guatemala, and ask any other central american or south american and they will most likely say that they are tired of being considered Mexican by almost everybody. I said "thankfully" not to offend the Mexican community but bcuz I'm happy that he is from a different nationality and can make that nationality be acknowledged by others.

  • @mayan002 me too bro im guatemalan and im sick being confused with the mexicans even though i got nothing against them

  • @BlackKarat3 Same here lol but as you said i have nothing against them.

  • @mayan002 You make a good point, but it also works the other way around. like a lot of Mexicans also get offended when central americans take the ''ugh, i'm not a mexican". i ain;t trying to divide, but i think that the way it has been approached hasn't worked either

  • @Laliebre408... Thankfully he is not. He is half Peruano and half Black.

  • @mayan002 thankfully? racist

  • @airborne4lf hes just stating the facts

  • Comment removed

  • Is Tech Mexican?

  • @LaLiebre408 Peruvian.

  • immortal technique will always be number one in my book

    he is a legend

  • SERIOUS MEDICINE!!! GOD IS THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE. KNOW YOUR ROLL. HEAR THE TRUMPETS? FEEL THE WAR DRUM LOOK TO THE WEST AT DUSK THEY COMING YO

  • truth in music is beautiful

  • An activist, historian, preacher, rebel, genius and a Revolutionary. Oh yeah.. AND HE'S THE BEST DAMN RAPPER ALIVE!

  • @TomCFC8 STRAIGHT THE FUCK UP !

  • @TomCFC8 Fucking rights buddy! We have one life, why not try to be the very best version of ourselves we can achieve? He genuinely cares about the common person, and is a massive inspiration. Everyone gets scared away because the first impression they get is "dance with the devil", but they're missing all the pure gold in the other songs! peace+love

  • @mwsundays Even that song, if you look up the video "immortal technique explaining dance with the devil" has a deep meaning.

  • @Damonymous yeah, of course. just that most people don't see the meaning and then to them it sounds like some necro stuff haha.

  • @TomCFC8

this comment made me realize im a nobody.

    fuck.

  • @ddawg132 You're a "nobody" until you stand up, dust yourself off, and make something of yourself. They have stomped us all into the ground, and now it's time to stomp back. Get up, brother.

  • iCried.

  • MUTHFKAHS GOONIES NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @wLittleThunder . . dont you delt SLATER SON bro i know . . his lyrics say so to bro . . and tell beanz to txt me his number bro

  • @ALDERORTIZ really? I thought this album had waaaaay more meaning to it. This song along with "eyes in the sky" are the deepest songs I've ever heard from immortal technique. These songs have such meaning, knowledge and metaphors. The Angles and demons just goes hard

  • thank you Immortal Technique for using this Inti Illimani's instrumental!!

the name of this song is La Partida !!

    great song! Immortal Tech' Rules!!

  • WHAT IS THAT CHANT? It sent chills down my spine when it came the 2nd time... wow

  • @siddgaa LOL, those are natives singing. Its a part of native culture.

  • @tesiyna I know bro , I want to know the specific language and meaning of that.

  • rebelucion

  • That just about sums it up, RISE UP BROTHERS!

  • I always been a Tupac & Nas fan for the intellectual music they made but immortal technique makes their music look like pop songs. Hes on my number 1 on my list because how intelligent this dude is, he blows my mind every time I hear hes songs even though sometimes the beat is way off.

  • @josemedina1983 I love Immortal Technique, but I disagree. Tupac was something entirely different. He focused on emotions, not politics. Plus you can't compare a pre 9/11 tupac to a post 9/11 immortal technique. different times. as far as Nas is concern, it's Fucking Nas, the poet/prophet of hip hop. Nas is more cryptic than immoral but rap is on a league of his own. i love tech, but Nas is Nas and Pac is Pac.

  • @josemedina1983 nah those 2 dont sound like pop. well NaS does sometimes

  • @josemedina1983 I couldn't agree more, well said.

  • @josemedina1983 That shits always on beat.

  • @josemedina1983 you sir, got the right idea

  • @josemedina1983 its like hes not even trying to kill the mic because he kills with real lyrics dam a true artist

  • I WASNT FEELING THIS ALBUM AS MUCH AS THA OTHER ONES

  • @ADLERORTIZ What? Wow really this shit was saved for last its not the best but its dope

  • @ADLERORTIZ It's not an album it's a mixtape

  • @ADLERORTIZ Agreed man, honestly it's good im sure he worked hard, but the other albums were better in my opinion.

  • @FuckleberryFinn69 i think this shits over 3rd world IMO, and i bought it

  • @willrenshaw I respect that, his message is much more clear on this album

  • The first time i heard "Dance with the Devil" i feel in love with Immortal Technique's music. I went to see him when he performed in Melbourne.

He truly is gifted, he talks about evolution, revolution, and how fucked up the world is.

  • Everyone should watch the video Russel Means: Welcome to the reservation

Its really interesting and insightful. This isn't spam, it applies because he led the armed Lakota takeover in rapid city.

  • I feel good chills running around my body as the natives chant, and inside I feel spiritually pumped.

  • @al458 . . .Lakota Sioux Chant . . . you should listen to Voice of the Voiceless by Lowkey . . Tech talks about some Natives shootin at FEDs in Rapid city South Dakota . . i know cause im from south dakota . . a rez called Rosebud Sioux tride (Sicangu Oyate Lakota) do you reseach . . WE'RE STILL A LIVE

  • @PussiesGlorifyMe its . . .

    Wankan Tanka(great spirit),

    Tunkasila(grandfather),

    Onsimalayo(take pity on us),

Mitakuya Lena Onsikayelo(my relatives are pitiful)

  • @al458 its not folk music from bolivia, ecuador and peru . . its Native American music bro most likely lakota i know bro because im Sicangu Oyate Lakota a.k.a. Burnt Thighs Nation. . @TheKilluminatii yeah bro thats it

  • wow, fucking epic.

  • Immortal Technique, NOT TUPAC... the fuck wrong with you suckas.

  • @shoulks Well maybe ill take back the hypocrite stuff a lil bit but when I was a kid on the streets and I heard Pac all it did was make me want to do crimes and attack rivals. Pac is understandable if your mature already but when your friends get killed at age of 15,14, and 13 R.I.P and you listen to Pac the only thing that sticks is thug and I know what he meant by his "thug". He had rules for it. But at that age in that lifestyle u dont understand his "thug" just thug

  • @Sarceno19 Pac had alot of potential but he blew it. He rapped about selling drugs and he influenced more people to follow the "thug" life than a rightous path. Pac is a bad influence even more so because he made it seem posible to be a "thug"(gangster) and still care about people? Fuck outta here. You cant be a gangster and care about people, thats a contridiction. No disrespect though. I rolled with gangs since 11 and changed my ways 360. Theres no such thing as a "good" thug.

  • @AR1STONE Thug life meant a whole different meaning to him, you can go watch his interviews. He never once glorified living in a gangster life, go listen to his songs he hated that shit. He was trying to reach out to the kids who lived that thug life and felt hopeless. Here man /watch?v=vbhAllAdmzE

  • @AR1STONE /watch?v=fJZcFZIG_6k listen through it dont get caught in all the media lies about pac man if you listen to IT you should know.

  • @AR1STONE if you actually give a good analysis of pacs life, you will see how great a revolutionary he was and he stood for the same things IT did/does. he did more charity then most other celebrities thug life isnt about being a criminal its something totally different, and pacs music has inspired more people then any other artist.

  • @THEmasteroftubes 2pac is a hypocrite dude. As much as he knew how to be good he didnt exercise it because of being "tuff" in other peoples eyes. He was saught after by feds for preeching too but IT's fans are revolutionaries not thugs like 2pac's fans. Dont try to mix these morals together. Pac aint good influence and you should follow IT and politics. Stay out of Pacs drugs and gangs unless thats what you want

  • @AR1STONE

Pac isn't a hypocrite, he used the word thug becuz it meant him being the underdog facing the worst cirumcstances in the hood with a single mother. Tupac was very much a revolutionary, you should look up his black panther speech. he even said "we need to overthrow the government" on MTV. He would help out strangers and homeless giving them money and not expecting anything back. but u never hear that from the media, they corrupted his image... drugs? he only did weed.

  • native american song

  • WE KILLUMINATI!!

  • To those who do not know this is Native American music he has on the song, and no its not chanting its singing in our lakota language... Lakotas were a big part of American History but they fail to put us in history because why? where savages in there eyes where drunks in there eyes but who brings that nasty shit here and bribes natives with alchohol in the 1800's the government and cheats us out of land and sacred areas and now where stuck on reservations...

  • 2pac n immortal technique are my fucking permanent role models.KILLUMINATI N REVOULTION 4 LIFE

  • @THEmasteroftubes lol 2pac

  • @ps3gamer386 What's funny about Tupac? I agree with the other guy he is an inspiration.

  • @THEmasteroftubes

    Hell ya bro.

    and Bob Marley

  • pure unedited lyrics, while dropping mad knowlegde , immortal technique is a genius, respect.

  • @pottsman420 if you love this music, check out Akala-fire in the booth .. watch the lyrics one if you really want to get the message clearer...i promise youll be reppin akala after

  • a doppelgänger (German "double walker")

  • This man is so greatly and possitively-knowledgably gaining, it trully makes me want to jump roofs. P.S. The Kite Runner, is an epic movie to see. will give Westerners abit of insight about rape and terror.

  • @pimpster122 what is he saying about the muslamic Jihad?

  • @MatrixOfDynamism - He said "like the kids chasing their kites"

Referencing Afghan children's direct life impacts of kite games and other forms of fun, to gurilla war and improvised willings of freedom through controversial occupation of foriegn grounds, dictations (like their laws, {and believes}).

  • @pimpster122 The entire world has been through alot of conflict with itself. Afghanistan has had an unfair share of bullshit over the more recent decades, equally aswell with their' neighbouring countries. All simply and completely dishonestly due to American affairs and alternative treasons to unities.

America is so tightly planned toward dictatorship, there will never be a solution to its proceedings.

  • Immortal technique + jedi mind + vinnie paz = the gods of hip hop

  • dont get it twisted i know these catholics messed with him when he was in there borstal when he was a kid but u cant let these man made religions stop you getting closer to God thats why satan invented them, ffs i was like a lost puppy i fell to earth to follow tec he cursed me up with his twisted lyrics got me to sacrafice mi kids to the fire for all i know from his lyrics and all sorts then got back in the good books of God i aint moaning and i aint jealous i just saying i fucking love him

  • i love dat drumming i did bring mi drum with me i half tempted to play along dont want mi dad getting violent with me again i so double minded i scared of tec still but at same time hes making me all brave that blue eyed cracker dad of mine tell me to get a job and that i dont know fuck all about irish history when he dont know we followed the black Christ before these white jesus religions of catholic and protestant came to divide and rule i gonna get mi demons allied with me and switch on him

  • kite runner was a great movie

  • The intro on this song is so dope, even though I didn't know what the meaning of the chanting but someone posted it here what it meant and for those rappers that trying to be like tech and don't get his songs u need to sharpen ur skills because tech vocabulary and intelligence r impressive

  • @Sweeper13i its not chanting its a song and its singing in Native American and the tribe of the song is Lakota it means " Great Spirit Take Pity On Me."

  • VICTOR JARA R.I.P.

    LA PARTIDA

  • i guess the stars will never be aligned

  • @Xxspades30Xx i knew it wasnt just me having this feeling

  • the best albums are when you can catch references or metaphors/similes months or even years after its released

  • Folk punk, Folk metal, World jazz, and now folk rap lol

  • @quocdarock You talking about the sample and the chanting? I'm pretty sure that was some Native American stuff right there (don't know what tribe, maybe Sioux?). lol, kinda the folk-music anti-thesis to me

  • @EmileA266 its not native american, its folk music from bolivia, ecuador and peru(where technique is from)...the instruments are called charango and rondador

  • @al458 its sounds like Lakota Language to me brotha I know because I live amongst them and im part Lakota also... tunkasila means grandfather and I can't pronounce the other words and if its another language educate me im open to learn on what it means... because it sounds like 100% lakota music to me....

  • @NativesLifeStyles406 wakan tanka is also great spirit so im pretty sure its Native American Traditional Song..... and the song with Lowkey and Immortal Technique Voices of the Voiceless he says " he gona buck at the feds like the natives in rapid city.... he speaking of the American Indian Movement members battling the F.B.I. this was between Pineridge Indian Reservation and Rapid.. im on Rosebud Rez right near Pine Ridge... just some education and NativeAmericans are still alive and fighting.

  • @al458 hey man it is Native American its Lakota Traditional Song here in the states amongst us Lakota, Nakota, and Dakota people on the plains.. the song is saying "Great Spirit Take Pity On Me..." to my knowledge I believe it says more but I dont understand much of the Native Language I should but my mother in law understands and so does my uncle and they both say what I posted abover here so there you go....

  • @thegreatist I get your point but this type of music is more about deep philosophy, intellectuals, and revolution. Not catchy "bitch this, money that". For those who dislike this music or ignorant and just diss well, what's that say about there character.

  • i wish there wasnt so much world music in this.. no offense to the culture or tech but the long intro and strange music will turn people away from this song i think. the actual rapping and beat is catchy though.

and i know someone is going to respond to this telling me to listen to the music but they will have obviously missed the point of my comment

  • @tehgreatist hows it matter if other people are turned away or not?

  • @quocdarock in a sense it doesnt, but i would like more people to hear this music.

  • @tehgreatist I know what you mean, but I liked the beginning. It was different & not long at all, shows his love of diversity & introduces fans to music that has depth in a different way. If you appreciate music, this is really beautiful.

  • I wish Immortal Technique was president..

  • anyone else love the kite runner reference?

  • luv dis... FROM SYRIA :D

  • My favorite song, this song has so much info. That I wasn't aware of... the part that I like most when tech says Quetzalcoalt flying over la raza. It brings back memories when I was a kid back in Guatemala studying mayan culture and there's a meaning of what tech said...Immortal T. He sure is a intellectual

  • "They can only conquer you when they murder your mind..."

  • This is def. My fav. Song :D Everything is perfect to this song , from the beat to the message.

  • Opening Sioux chant:

    Wankan Tanka(great spirit),

    Tunkasila(grandfather),

    Onsimalayo(take pity on us),

Mitakuya Lena Onsikayelo(my relatives are pitiful)

  • @TheKilluminatii Thanks for droppin that wisdom. Alot of people don't know why this speaks to their soul. I know why. I've been to the medicine wheel. I witnessed a passing of a drum. When the elder took up the song, I could hear him call all the way back to the first of our relatives that sat around the fire. I saw a small glimpse of who I truly was, and it was realer than everything I had ever seen in this life put together.

  • @TheKilluminatii i dont think its "take pity on us" he says unci maka (grandmother earth)

  • @wLittleThunder I got the translation from a Lakota brother. He translated it for me. I wouldn't be able to translate it myself.

  • keep underground hip hop alive and visit my page ima 16 year old hip hop artist from michigan trying to get on viper records

  • the stars are aligned Immortal, lets get it, keep praying for my blessings

  • If I'm correct this is a remix of one of the songs from the movie "Motorcycle Diaries", a movie about Che Guevara's early life, where you see how he developed his political beliefs. Immortal is one subtle motherfucker that's for sure.

  • @CommanderPayne Really?? Do you know the name of the song they sampled off the soundtrack? Tech's producer Southpaw is genuis, especially when he samples latin music.

  • Stupid mothafuckas cant even rap they head around this

  • hidden prophet

  • whoever disliked this are most likely lil wayne supporting son of a bitches. Real talk. Immortal Technique is the prophet and savior of music.
