That is wrong advice! The emphasis is on the 'i' vowel and not the 'o'. MI-o...not mi-O. 2/3rd's of the note should be spent on the 'i' sound and only 1/3 should be spent on the 'o' sound. This singer is performing it the correct way.
i was chosen to sing this as a solo for a solo and ensemble competition, and its very challenging. im only 16, and for my age those high notes are a little difficult. do you have any suggestions?
Beautiful! Simply beautiful. I'm in the midst of singing/ learning this song at the moment, and my professor recommended listening to this to understand how it should sound. I'm happy she did so so that I have a point to shoot for, but it also let's me see how far I still have to go. Thank you all the same for this beautiful video!
