  • parece guitarra flamenca, que belleza, fuerza y sensibilidad

  • i just attended a live concert yesterday! :) hes amazing

  • listen to this while its windy outside and observe the trees, its sublime

  • when I ve got half an hour spare I might learn that tune....lol. Awsome stuff by a great great player. He s amazing.

  • @Th0masWarner But please, don't say this is 2nd hand flamenco, 'cause it isn't.

    Regards from Portugal.

  • @MrBikeiro

Agree; it's great expression...and using both Classical and Flamenco technique.

We have come a long way from Segovia. A great blend of Classical tradition and Modern.

  • Now napoleon dynamite will have no problem getting chicks with those skills.

  • WHERE IS THIS SHEET?

  • @pacsth It's not released yet. Wait until the summer... (yes, I've been looking for it too...) : D

  • Exceptional work. Amazing taste and depth of mastery.

  • WOW! I've been through a lot of guitar video's on the tube, never came across your name though. Great song, just great! That's one for the favorites!

  • Johannes is brilliant...

  • Amazing piece and a very powerful performance. Just out of curiosity does a score exist for this piece? And if so how could I get it?

  • @gulligitar

actually there is. today i met him for the first time at my school. the only thing is that it isn't open for us to see it. i did catch a glimpse of it though, it was really, really complicated.

  • @agomaster5 Yeah I figure that he wants to keep it for himself while he's making a name for himself, like every reasonable musician would do. Also I just wanted to know if he bothered to write that whole thing down haha. It would be a nightmare reading through that piece with the capo and all. But maybe he composed it on paper although I doubt it. He didn't comment on when or if he would publish this? And what school?

  • @gulligitar Not sure if agomaster5 goes to the same school, but he came to Evergreen Valley High School yesterday.

The song sounds really good live.

And no, he didn't comment on publishing.

  • @gulligitar sorry for the late reply, but it was at Evergreen Valley Highschool. and i don't know anything about publication of the song.

  • The score will be published with Doberman-Yppan very soon. Thanks for all your nice comments!!

  • soo much shredding - pretty cool piece!

  • Excellent tehnique !!

  • If I were told that I would only be able to listen to one guitar piece for the rest of my life ,I would have to choose one that I knew had the power and spirit to take me on a wonderful trip upon every listen- This would be my choice . This gem touches me in a very deep way.Thank you Johannes from the bottom of my heart.

  • Winner 2010 GFA International Concert Guitarist - June 2010

  • damn what a great idea with the capo!! !! !! you get every drop out of it too haha that piece rules so much...

  • i remember meeting you at a guitar camp in sweden... must've been almost 10 years ago, you were good back then as well :) you played koyunbaba during a masterclass with antigoni goni.

  • He use to be my guitar teacher at the swedish school in london

  • Flamenco sounds

  • Beautiful and incredible!! I know him, he's a very sympathetic guy and one of the best guitar players I know!

  • Incredible.....just incredible.........Anyone want to buy a Raimundo Guitar!!!!

  • I like the piece but it definitely is flamenco not classical.

  • Where do i find tabs of this? ; ) Ehh, nono thanks... on second thought, it would take a lifetime to study this piece. So wonderfull, it gave me tears.

  • Whispered by the Wind is beautiful. Congratulations, and also on your nomination for the Grachtenfestivalprijs, Johannes. I look forward to seeing you in Ashland in February.

  • holly shit man , you and that guitar have become one .

  • gotta love harmonious, idiosyncratic, modern classic guitar. Thumbs up (and cramped)!

  • One of the best tunes I have ever heard. Literally took me on an adventure lol.

  • es bien feling me impacto

  • What is it with you Swedes.. why are you so freaking good at guitar. :P

  • Brouweresque I would say. Perhaps a mix the eternal spiral and canticum. Very original all the same.

  • love it,reminds me of my oldest brother he also plays classical

  • Continue to be inspired !! Need to study when to make a change-up in stucture..good luck..

  • He's genius! His music is like nobody else. Absolutely incredible.

  • my god that piece was gorgeous!!! the also interview was fantastic, my night has officially been made! cheers from san francisco!!

  • Lysande Johannes! Titelspår på kommande platta?

    leif

  • What a magnificent young talented musician from a talented family of creators..The next many decades of classical music/Jazz/Spanish music /&composition are in very very good hands.Johannes easily ranks with the young Andres Segovia,Paco de Lucia,Pepe Romeros,Paco Pena,Julian Bream,John Williams,Grisha Goryachev and the world's great guitarists ..and at only twenty-seven yrs.(AND VERY easy on the eyes too).!

  • Nicely done! Fun to see an old friend become so successful!

  • Very Phenomenal.

  • very impressive

  • hey i realy love what you're doing and I love your piece about the wind.. you're one of my favorite players and please keep going.

    Mike

  • wow! Interesting use of the capo too!

  • Riktigt fin komposition! Vackert och habilt förövrigt.

    Keep it up!
