Love this band, the first band I ever saw live and still wish I could go back. Never ever got the credit they deserved. Saw them live 3 times and wish I had seen them so many more.
I just love this band...this song is really powerful..One of the most underrated bands in the 90s and today.they just keep on cranking...danny does have an amazing voice ala Paul Rodgers.
lol @ the vid, Dan, good call on the hair cut. Saw you at Hmersrsmith, the farewell gig, was a blast, had some amazing people watching moments, one guy in particular, he was grieving! ha! you'll be missed.
AC/DC formulaic and limited but performance wise, Jesus H Christ they gave it all ! This is poignant to me. I take it out of context and think of artists who are struggling to survive because of a passion whilst others get money for virtually nothing!
First band I ever saw, ended up seeing them 3 times. If anyone remembers seeing them at folstone on their first tour, do they remember the support band and can you tell me the name?
Why do I always tune into great bands after they've split up. Heard shoutouts for their gigs on Rock Radio and thought nothing of it..... Got their Very Best of Thunder and now seriously regret not getting to a gig!
This is one of the most beautiful, powerful moments in rock history, and should be as well known as Stairway To Heaven, Freebird or All Right Now as far as I'm concerned. Its perfect in every way. As musicans and songwriters these guys are as good as any band ever, and alongside Bon Scott and Paul Rodgers in Free/Bad Company days, Danny is my favourite vocalist and frontman.
@fuzzleredmenn. i totally agree with you. millions of thumbs of for your reply. since i first heard this band, it was not only common money-making but also with inner meaning. rock'n'roll and wisdom can be one!!!!!!!!!!!!
@TheSeattlegreen Phil is good yes, I've been lucky enough to see him with Pantera and Down, but not my favourite, Bon Scott, Paul Rodgers, Steve Marriott, Dio, Halford, Phil Mogg, David Lee Roth in early Van Halen days, those guys are all legends to me.
Saw them '92 Milton Keynes Bowl.....With Bryan Adams and ZZ Top........Will never forget!!!.....also at Norwich UEA.....and Monsters of Rock with Iron Maiden Headlining!!....Great Band, with not enough credit....but guess what?...We were all priveleged to see them and not miss out to all the Ticket Touts that sell out the "BIG" Bands.....LONG LIVE THUNDER....!!!....goddbye for now!!
Hi Monsait - you better be quick! I saw there last tour gig at Hammersmith as duda60 did. They are playing the Sonishpere festival next month at Knebworth and that's the end of them as that will be their last ever gig. (Unless they decide to reform in a few years of course)
Seeing them on the 11th!! Their LAST gig. I can't believe it. Fuckin' brilliant band and it's a shame that they're breaking up!!! Fucking outrageous that they never got the becking from the medai they deserve!!
I just don't understand why they have not had the success they obviously deserve. Didn't know anything about them until just today, fans on the Storys website forum comment how good they are. I wish i'd known before , i think they are geat also. Would love to see them if only once.. A great sound, great talent. No wonder this world is cockeyed...i'm gutted to lose them when i've only just found them. Such is life! Bridget x

I've never heard of Thunder, but this is one of the best rock songs I've ever heard. Building up the song with acoustic guitar works, and it really comes alive after 2 first minutes. And they really have something to say.
Thunders "Laughing on Judgment Day" album is one of the BEST of all times. While Thunder never made it big in the U.S.A., they are still one of my all-time favorites!
great song, great boys. I love Thunder. I've seen them many years ago in Germany. It was a concert for 500 people. It was one of my best concerts I've seen.
the best english group ever !!! , people are so thick , cant see true bloddy talent even if it bite them on the ass , great band allways have been & allways will be !!
One of the greatest British bands ever. Such a shame that nobody knows them (yeah, there are exceptions:). They wrote so good songs, have great albums...Why don't people recognize them?
i think people do not recognize them, because they do not want to sell her souls to the music-machinery. since we know them and the words we can make a change, can't we?
Yeah, you're totally right. I always try to share good music with all of my friends who like it. I've uploaded 2 songs by Thunder but i thought there would be more people interested in their stuffs:S (sry for the commercial-like comment)
