So he is right by definition. To him that is what is admirable. Not just going to war but the saving of life. Hero is a term that is not misused but OVER used. I beg to differ. I'm liberal and I've used reason and logic many a time to shred the arguments of overly conservative and overly liberal people alike. I've found, oddly enough, that logic is lost more on the conservative side since they often turn more to the bible nowadays than to thinking for themselves. Not always, but more often than not. Besides there is nothing bad about being emotional. It is fuel for the fight we need to fight againts stupidity, hate, apathy, bigotry, fear, lies, etc.

What I mean by emotion being a good thing is that many americans are apathetic sheep that feel nothing about the atrocities that our government does. We need emotion to stir us, to fuel our ability to change things and to speak up. Not to the point that our words become frothing gibberish though. Often times rage IS the proper emotion. When watching a future filled with atrocity and watching others not only allow it but support it, sometimes you have to voice that rage to get the idea out there.

So he is right by definition. To him that is what is admirable. Not just going to war but the saving of life. Hero is a term that is not misused but OVER used. Hero is subjective to the one puting on the label. A dictator may be a hero to some people since many may admire him. A muderer may be a hero since he shows great courage. Our service men/women may be heros but their heroism is being used for an unjust cause buy immoral people. Then they are forgoten when they are no longer useful.
