I feel her beside in every song i play with her flutes and my piano. Sometimes i can hear ,imagine, her sweet voice singing as i play. One of the things that I have always savored in the Celtic tradition was the sweet music, done in largely folk style, instead of the dead, pipe organ traditional style of other denominations.

David Arkenstone has done an outstanding job of bringing this tradition to life, making this prayer alive and vibrant. I love this.

You don't have to live in Ireland to be Irish, just embrace the songs, the language which isn't a hard thing to do, I reckon. Hehe, once mars is human populated, we'll all be citizens of earth.=)

I love this rendition of a song that was one of my favorites in my youth. Growing up in the Celtic tradition, there was so much religious music that drove the gospel to heart. This is one of the best performances of this song I have ever heard - a living prayer.

I think "thou" here refers to the Father, ie Father God, because the protagonist refers to himself as the ''son", ie Jesus Christ.
