@Yanlynch - what a real man you are, she was lucky to have you - don't forget she's gone to play and sing elsewhere - you'll join her again, don't worry
This song makes me remeber my first, and maybe the strongest love i ever had. Now she's not among us anymore. But someday i'm sure we'll be together again in Asgard if Odin give me this honor. But for now, i'll walk the streets of Louth alone. Evanna, may your soul rest in peace in the Lord's hands. We'll be together again my darling, i promise you. 'S tú mo grá go deo. When you gone, my heart, my dreams and my life gone with you and i don't know if i'm able to love another person. Sorry guys='(
@YanLynch This was the most beautiful comment I have ever seen on someone else, I cried while reading, I can tell you one thing, love is very strong and believe fervently in God, you will have your love back, is this plan, God is wonderful, and hope for you here in Brazil, stay with our Lord in the Light
@YanLynch Beautiful comment, almost made me cry (and I cry very rarely)... I agree with Alex, God is wonderful and merciful. It had to be a sorrowful loss for you but as I read your comment I am sure Evanna is now with God and under His protection.
@AureusVenerabilis@alexhakknen Thank you so much guys..i'm sorry for this comment but sometimes i simply feel veeeery sad because of my loss as i couldn't do anything to help...she died in my arms.........i don't even had strengh to cry...sure, our God is simply wonderful and i trust Him more than anything oin this world. She still visiting me in my dreams every single nigh (maybe my remedies do that, i don't know) but i will always use our ring oin my left hand...Go raibh maith agat mo cairde!
@alexhakknen @AureusVenerabilis She were an AWESOME flutist...i will always and always play her flutes and this, somehow, will always keep her music alive. I feel her beside in every song i play with her flutes and my piano. Sometimes i can hear ,imagine, her sweet voice singing as i play. Sorry....so sorry guys.......i loved her (i'm still loving) so much...she were my small measure of peace and joy...i was complete, nothing more and nothing less, she were simply my perfect blossom
We have been singing to the all highest for many years, what a witness from over the generations to us today. May we continue for generations to come.
One of the things that I have always savored in the Celtic tradition was the sweet music, done in largely folk style, instead of the dead, pipe organ traditional style of other denominations.
David Arkenstone has done an outstanding job of bringing this tradition to life, making this prayer alive and vibrant. I love this.
My family is 100% Irish, and I have never felt at home in Ireland... I've tried so hard to make it my home, but I've never been able to find my niche there. I'm afraid this song makes me realize that Ireland will never be my home.
@McManatee aww I'm sorry about that, I love Galiege, and I definitely wanna visit Ireland, and if I get lucky stay there for a while.=) Its such a beautiful place, with a culture so different from England. You don't have to live in Ireland to be Irish, just embrace the songs, the language which isn't a hard thing to do, I reckon. Hehe, once mars is human populated, we'll all be citizens of earth.=)
I challenge people to make this their daily prayer. You will not regret asking for Christ's heart and eyes. The change in you will be beautiful and stunning.
I love this rendition of a song that was one of my favorites in my youth. Growing up in the Celtic tradition, there was so much religious music that drove the gospel to heart. This is one of the best performances of this song I have ever heard - a living prayer.
I've listen this celtic hymns by Reta Ceol, could be with her band also. I listen over and over and over. This is an amazing music help me to think of Jesus and other calm me down and relax. Love this alot.
New Brunswick huh? I know some people up there. Might you know (or have known) of a Pastor Karl Ingersol? I know the chances are small, but I just had to ask.
Not sure about the woodstock thing, but I know he's friends with Joel Wydish, another pastor from that area(who recently moved from what I hear). I know them from my youth camp here in the states.
Bellisimo!! Mio dolce, mio cuore, tutto mio, mio signore!! Dolce bambino Jesús!! =)

@PhoenixMatthias See the second stanza "Thou my great Father, I thy true son"
I think "thou" here refers to the Father, ie Father God, because the protagonist refers to himself as the ''son", ie Jesus Christ.
jcwk87 1 year ago
@jcwk87 the son refers to any christian. notice how son isn't capitalized.

Soothing Celtic music which reminds me of my godly grandmother, and summers spent with loved ones and fellow believers in Nova Scotia, Canada,
The truth contained in these hymns never changes, and is a great reminder of His never failing love and work in our lives !!!
