I've just realised Wilko cuts his stage style right back on this song so although Lee is rooted to the spot due to having the mic on the stand due to playing the slide he can be the focal point of the performance. Class act.

I remember walking down a street in 1975. Some dude had left his window open, with this song on full blast. My God ! That searing slide guitar cut me up ! Like Elmore James on steroids !

@mmac1411 For those in the know they are and always will be... my boy is six years old and adores Feelgood, I think the Doctors have innoculated him against the moronic pap that has always dominated the music biz. Feelgood never were mega-stars.... its a testiment to their talent that they had the impact they did, they were and will always remain the real deal - no bullshit just good honest R&B!
