  • ITS REED ;)!!!!!!!

  • D&C43:25 "How oft have I called upon you by the mouth of My servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by Mine own voice, and by the voice of thunderings, and by the voice of lightenings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes, and great hailstorms, and by the vices of famines and pestilences of every kind... and by the voice of mercy,...glory and honor and riches of eternal life and would have saved you with an everlasting salvation, but ye would not."

  • That outbreak was more severe than a teenager's acne.

  • if i remember right from my training SCUDS are either clear spots or scary looking clouds

  • @Shydragon72 Scuds are the raggety looking clouds rotating under a wall cloud, they really aren't dangerous as they aren't organized.

  • My granny died in that tornado.. :(

  • I like this video. Thank you for your sharing. Hope to see next your video.

  • I am terri9fied of those things!!!!!

  • I wield the flail of the lashing hail,

And whiten the green plains under.

And then again I dissolve it in rain,

And laugh as I pass in thunder.

  • when i was young my poppaw carried me outside and we watched a tornado pass bye

  • @UtahMike41 yeah it does but its also unusual for tornadoes here in california......but there was a couple in the la area a few weeks ago

  • Where in California? I used to live in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area. Just curious.

Anyway, Mother Nature is always in control. And when she goes on a rampage all bets are off!

  • im not sure....it was on the news

  • Ah. Yeah, well maybe some of those tornadoes will suck some of the liberal hippes out of there who are destroying a once beautiful place to live.

  • or better yet the gang banger pussies

  • @UtahMike41

Care to be more specific about how 'liberals' are "destroying a once beautiful place to live"?

  • Truly a classic chase. Thanks for showing the storm structure and catching A+ footage of an A+ storm. Very professional and a good example to those wishing to chase storms.....prudence, clean language, no over excitement.

  • i was tht fucking F4 Tornado in mountain view, when on my Vacation

  • You mean Mountain Home, AR? I'm in Fort Smith, that shit caused over $ 2 million in hail damage alone. The wall cloud moved right over but didnt drop a tornado till after it passed the city.

  • Kentucky had 26 tornados during this outbreak one of them hit Harrodsburg, Ky about 6 miles from my house. I could hear the roar of the funnel passing by

  • @goingawaysomeday i was at the corning factory in harrodsburg when that tornado went by! awesome

  • @goingawaysomeday One of them hit on that day where I lve in Laurel County Kentucky

  • We ended up having a smaller scale outbreak in Oklahoma on Feb 10 2009, one year and six days later. I got a huge wall cloud recorded, but Lake Overholser blocked my path, so I never saw the tornado it spawned at Rockwell street and NW Expressway. Lone Grove had an EF4 when night time came. It was bad. Edmond OK also got hit by some tornadoes. Piedmont got one also. It was amazing how quick it all got started.

  • well the live in arkansas so its prob. still kinda warm down there

mine was only a couple days after it happened! And on the eve of 18th birthday more or less.

  • @hannah0fan0ky

I also had one go right over my head as we got to taco bell. The one that went over later touched down in Germantown, it was a spectacular sight. I wasn't even scared! Though I think everyone in Taco Bell thought I was nuts! Hahaha!

  • @SuperPatsu By the looks of the Taco Bell pictures looks like WW2 took place there haha! But I was out of town in Sparta, IL when this hit. That funnel you were talking about went right over my house.

  • @hannah0fan0ky YEAH MY BIRTHDAT IS ON FEB.5 KEWL

  • I want to see the Outbreak!!! There was nothing!!!

  • Tell that to my friend's destroyed house.

  • Well that's no good, sorry for that... Besides the bad things that happen to people from these destruction, Weather is awesome....

  • oh there were tornadoes, they were just a lil to far south from it at that time. believe me i was in the main jist of it about 3 hours earlier and we had i believe 3-5 confirmed touchdowns including the one that stretched for over 120 miles from atkins all the way up into missouri

  • u didnt have to watch the whole thing stupid

  • good video man keep it up!!!

  • I live in Oxford,MS. It doesnt mention one hitting here that day, but it did. A tornado touched down in northern oxford, in lafayette county. Destroyed lots of houses and an industrial park and caterpillar plant. I saw it. Nott too bad, but scary....

  • this was on my birthday not cool i would be scared

  • u think u can send some pics of the tiv an a nado

  • I live in central Arkansas. I was very anxious after hearing there was a tornado on the ground in my neighboring county; it JUST missed Faulkner County.

  • I live in central eastern australia and i get plenty of storms where i live and also hail but i havent recalled a tornado!! But i'd love to see one! Scary though

  • I'm lucky I live in Victoria, Australia. I've never seen a tornado in my whole life. I dopn't even recall one ever happening in Victoria or the whole of Australia in like over a century. I don't remember.

  • my neighborhood got caught by the same storm....a goose went flying though the window and all the windows busted... + 85% of our neighborhood was damaged.

and alot of geese died. the sky was a green-ish color + i felt the ground shake and heard train noises......which that would be a tornado!!! it was scary there was a torndo in mine+ my freinds backyard!!!!

  • You know what? Don't watch his videos since you obviously don't have anything good to say about ANY of them. Geez, there's a little button on your computer marked "off". I think you guys do a great job. Thanks!

  • i TOTALLY AGREE. People are always griping about Reed screaming, well STOP watching him if you dont like it! I think he's entertaining, funny and shows what its like to enjoy your job. I wish everyone could be that enthusiastic about their work. And if Reed wasn't out there, you wouldn't get these great videos. So here's my advice to everyone who doesn't like Reed: QUITCHERBITCHIN. Dont watch him if you dont liek him, and quit posting mean things on his pages!

  • TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! Reed is the best storm chaser! Thank you for all, Reed and keep upload extreme tornado videos!

  • I LLOVE TORNADOES

  • Reed Timmer constantly seems like he's justsnorted an eight ball of meth.....

  • no shit hes always excited and screaming

  • we were visiting memphis from england that day and drove straight into the storm....scarey ....wana thank all memphians who made our week memorable

  • funny how people always talk about getting this insane video, and living to tell about it...but really, how many stormchasers have you heard of dying during the chase? a tornado is a pretty easy thing to avoid, and alot of idiots and rednecks with no knowledge of meteorology chase tornadoes all the time. With all those people out there filming tornadoes, why do we always have to listen to reed timmer the screaming asshole constantly yelling at us. I fucking hate that guy.

  • The greatest guys to film videos of tornadoes and hurricanes to live to tell about it.

  • Right on :D

  • oo. sorry to hear that. i cant imagine what its like for you.

  • Well, Tomorrows the 1st anniversary of The February 5, 2008 Super Tuesday Tornado outbreak. I hope people upload some nws coverage a year later.

  • dude your in my state

  • that happened on my birthday

  • dude is this really the dude from from storm chasers if yes say hi skaterb0y0

  • I spilled a coke in my car, and said I'll worry about it if it doesn't get blown away.

the only bad thing I had about that day was my ham radio license had just came in, and I of course didn't have a radio. I did call the weather service and offer my services if needed.

BTW, the temp got upwards around 78 degrees that day.

  • and I had to go cover the atkins tornado damage for the new york times as a freelance photographer and audio sound (for their website) and man, I'd never seen tornado damage in person- it's just amazing what an ef-4 tornado can do. It totally destroyed this one area of town, but not 100 yards from a destroyed house (absolutely nothing left standing) another house wasn't touched.

Awesome, awesome forces of nature. I would love to see one, but pray to never be in one.

  • I am on my sons account so sorry about the name. LOL

I live west of Atlanta and we had numerous tornado warning all throughout Feb and Mar of last yr. It was unseasonably warm most of last winter. This yr seems to be the opposite. So far knock on wood no severe weather outbreaks.

So what is your personal feelings on this springs tornado season being that we have had a colder than normal winter through most of the USA?

  • I was working out Feb. 5th, and I'm in Little Rock. I heard unconfirmed reports about 4 deaths in Atkins, and just looking at the radar was enough to see it was a serious situation. I've never driven over the hills faster than I did that night. I had to go to work for super tuesday stuff, and man, it was dead silent in LR- creepy and eerie. deafeningly silent. i've never driven to work faster in my life. Made the 10 mile drive in probably 10 mins. No one else was on the road (thank God)

  • you guys in the US seem to get all the good weather, all we get in Australia is fucking cyclones. love the bad weather get the adrenaline pumping

  • nice

  • huge tornado...f*ckken Nice..i wanna go to america..and see a real tornado ;)

  • wanna go together haha.

  • Tornadoes rotate counter-clockwise.

  • Reed, I have a quick question that I need you to pass on to Josh:

How do you manage to get your scientific probes to stay on the ground when a tornado passes over the top them? I really want to know, and so does my mom.

Also, which direction do tornados rotate in? Clockwise, or counter-clockwise?

  • Tornadoes rotate clockwise, although there have been a few that rotated clockwise.

  • the winds of a tornado are weak at the very base. The probes weigh 120lbs and most of it is the steel plate. The tornado wouldn't pick it up because the meters and gauges on the plate are thin and wind would blow through and around it. Tornadoes rotate both ways I believe. I've only seen counter though.

  • in six only...

  • YetiLuigi... we are unequal people... and difference this: I can say that I say, but you can't say it... Why??? I shall sustain examination at any level, but you will leave with shame... Therefore you also have not exposed your last letter here, but has sent me on my address... are afraid to be humiliated in eyes of the people. The end of conversation.

  • I think Yeti commented on your channel not because of fear of being humiliated, but the fact that talking about the power of the mind has nothing to do with the video and two people making pages of arguements is annoying.

  • that tornado was tiny check out my favorites or just type in windsor colorado tornado to see a f-4 hit my home town

  • macckaron, what dimension are you in?

  • Yes... Here conversation on the large work... It is the very large work and today I already can do it... Let's not attribute the silly qualities by another... I do not touch of your advantages, but after your letters could write your characteristic... she is far from light... But it is interesting to nobody... Do not forget - your opinion is only your personal opinion and no more...

  • with my mind I can do all !!! You know my mind ??? If you don't know Why you say it ??? Be silent and listen, that speak the grown-ups.

  • I can make everything, that I want... new discovery is new opened door In the unknown world... If I say "I can", you must know,- I CAN.

  • Well if I had any say in the matter I'd say you SHOULD go to an insane asylum but since you probably won't be hurting anyone else but yourself, I guess it doesn't matter.

Have fun finding out that you're not, and I did say not, invincible.

Unless of course this is one big joke to provoke attention and response then I'd say good job.

  • Do not attribute to me your madness... "NOT" and more times "NOT" ...

I have absolutely other approaches to the decision of a problem...

You solve by a principle " force on force ", but me " mind (wit) against force "...

my methods is Sparing and can not kill the people.

  • sorry that i assumed. can you stop evading the point and simply tell us how you plan on using "wit" against a twister? you can not seriously think you can stop a twister with your mind.

  • Perhaps he is considering the use of telekinesis.

  • where is this?

  • i was in that storm that day it was scary as hell!

  • It is necessary it is a little... To leave on a goverment's level and to support my project...

  • if you're referring to launching missiles or creating a super loud noise to destroy tornadoes you're insane. Yes it may work but the risk of blowing up a town rather than just being partially blown over is not worth it...don't you know that messing with nature is a bad thing!? and i must admit the "..." after everything you say adds to the creepiness of your mad scientist plan.

  • I can destroy these monsters...

and want to make my discovering in practice...

  • where iz the tornado
