@sensei15 Wrong. They are all running pretty damn fast, there is no such thing as average speed when you pole vault. It's either run, or don't run.

the training, the strength, and the speed is all necessary, if you don't have any of the three, you're fucked. i hate it when people say that his isn't a hard sport. i'm a sophomore in high school and this shit kicks my ass if i don't have a good jump.
