@Pico2571 Dude it's not about surviving some form of torture physically alone, the mind has to survive it too, if a person has a strong mind (and I MEAN strong) the person and his body can cope to a reasonable level afterwards, he probably wouldn't have lived long even if he came through the torture stronger than before as his body was riddled with what looked like hooks sticking from his back so he would've most likely bled out not long after.
