@LegitHacks100 it clearly says western because he lives in western parts of america to be more specific california because they only live there go to CA herps.com to findout more about reptiles even though that wasnt the error you made.
I love these bugger, i had caught a couple here in San Diego CA, i kept them for a couple years, a female laid eggs, i hatched them and let them all go, even the parents, im sticking with keeping my bearded dragons only
Really? I caught a Five Lined Skink about a month ago, and I decided to keep him/her... And it's the reason I want a bearded dragon. I love mah li'l slither, but I also want something more tame I can handle. Still, I probably wont be able to get a Bearded dragon for a while so. >.<
Nothing but speed and predicting it's movements...Don't try using nets, you're just as likely to crush it as to catch it. Don't grab it by its tail either - they come off.
im in north carolina. i caught one of those ones. like an idiot i put it in the tank with my snake before i found out that they don't ONLY eat small mammals... poor Bluey. I swear i didn't kno any better at the time, it was several yrs ago
cool. I just caught another one like yesterday... I'm keeping this one in a separate tank from my snake... and i did the research this time and also asked kinda a herp expert how to take care of it. he's doin good. eating lil crickets and running around. the snake is doing good 2, she's gotten a lot bigger
To truly tame a skink you must spend night after night talking softly, saying kind things, like: "blue you are, one day blue you no longer will be..." Things like that. Gradually getting louder and louder until you can finally shout at the top of your lungs without frightening him.
it is a skiltons skink

It's 60 fps. Makes for a great action shot... even though there isn't much action here.
