  • I love these bugger, i had caught a couple here in San Diego CA, i kept them for a couple years, a female laid eggs, i hatched them and let them all go, even the parents, im sticking with keeping my bearded dragons only

  • @PsychoLink858

Really? I caught a Five Lined Skink about a month ago, and I decided to keep him/her... And it's the reason I want a bearded dragon. I love mah li'l slither, but I also want something more tame I can handle. Still, I probably wont be able to get a Bearded dragon for a while so. >.<

  • ...It's western? I've seen a bunch of these but I live in Virginia.

  • @iwuvsweeney

He might mean eastern? lol I dunno, but I catch them too and I'm your state-neighbor...

I catch about 5"-6" skinks, how about you?

  • i just found one of these in my house- central point oregon, closest water is about 5 miles away

  • i was so suprised when i found one of these were i live the wild reptiles are so boring and dull

  • that is one pretty creature. im just amazed on how some animals can become so pretty.

  • how much are these worth because there are like millions that hang out around my house?

  • ihad one of these i tryed to save it but it was to late so ifed it to a wild cuaght cornsnake

  • hey do you know any place i could by one

  • how did you catch it?

  • @GibsonNg88

Nothing but speed and predicting it's movements...Don't try using nets, you're just as likely to crush it as to catch it. Don't grab it by its tail either - they come off.

  • best fathers day video ever

  • i saw one in my back yard, and i tried to catch it by its tail and the efffn tail came off!!!

  • Do you have a brain?

  • were are they the most

  • in egypt is to more that

  • i thought he said "its a blue taled western skank" then i found out he says skink

  • I guess it would make the video a little more interesting if I really was holding a tiny Skank with a blue tail... alas...

  • rotflmao :)

  • wow thats a cute skank er.. skink

  • yea I found one up in California :P I love those little dudes.

  • i found one with a red tail

  • im in north carolina. i caught one of those ones. like an idiot i put it in the tank with my snake before i found out that they don't ONLY eat small mammals... poor Bluey. I swear i didn't kno any better at the time, it was several yrs ago

  • I CATCH THEM ALL THE TIME IN NC TO LOL

  • cool. I just caught another one like yesterday... I'm keeping this one in a separate tank from my snake... and i did the research this time and also asked kinda a herp expert how to take care of it. he's doin good. eating lil crickets and running around. the snake is doing good 2, she's gotten a lot bigger

  • dude i catch em in NC to omg :D

  • I live on the east coast.

and these little lizards are everywhere.

along with the redish brown ones.

  • im in southern ohio

i find those allot during the summer

i have always called them 5 lines skinks

    lol THEY ARE FAST!

but they dont always stay tiny!! XD

i have seen some good size ones!!

    last summer i saw a 7"

they are really neat arnt they! XD

  • i caught a littler one once it was the size of my thumb i could barely hold it i caught it in Arcaida, MO

  • aw it's so tiny!

btw best framerate i've ever seen on a youtube video.

  • sarcasm?

  • I'm not even kidding. while the quality isn't all THAT good, the framerate makes it look like i'm looking through a window

  • It's 60 fps. Makes for a great action shot... even though there isn't much action here.

  • do u no how 2 tame a blu tailed skink?

  • To truly tame a skink you must spend night after night talking softly, saying kind things, like: "blue you are, one day blue you no longer will be..." Things like that. Gradually getting louder and louder until you can finally shout at the top of your lungs without frightening him.

  • @tonusbonus

XD Mine is used to me randomly popping into the room, shrieking, and doing jumping jacks out...

I only had him for a week before I let him go. :P But I have a bearded dragon who it much the same.
