Both bands grew up in relatively the same situation listening to the same music. Brits tend to view Canadians more like Americans but that's simply not true. The only thing is the accent which really isn't as far off as the american accents. Alexisonfire, before they were big, put on the best hardcore shows ever. So intense.

@manwithacane Of course not, when I first heard this i had to double check i wasn't listening to Cancer Bats or some North American stuff. Although I do reckon they lost, both musicaly and vocaly what defined Gallows. They split because clearly the rest of the band wanted to do this kind of music, and Frank in turn wanted to do his own music. And for that I can't rage that they picked Wade and changed style because honestly, what would of happened if they stayed togehter?

@manwithacane I never said your opinion is invalid or wrong. I'm just beyond sick of people hating something because it's not the way it used to be. I also never implied Gallows sucked before or now. My problem is with the people who shit on everything that has evolved (By evolve I mean changed). For what it's worth, everyone is judging a 40 second song. There is nothing solid to judge.

wade had some really big shoes to fill, and I bet he knew it, so no need to come here and keep bashing the guy and saying that frank is better and blablabla, we all love frank and the old gallows, but gallows is not only about frank, there are other musicians on the band also, and this is a relief the band is in good hands I believe. well done wade well done.

Half the reason I first got into Gallows was for the raw sound that Frank gave them. Hearing this though I can't wait for the next album/EP!!!

@kagari616 because after Frank left they hired a fucking Canadian from fucking Alexisonfire....i have nothing against Canada but for such a distinctly British band it seems absurd to get a Canadian guy to sing, it would be like Frank Carter singing Bad Brains....just fucked up!!!! plus alexisonfire are not my favourite band.....

@ArseLoad0fMetal666 I'd love to see Frank from Bad Brains. The Canadian underground scene isn't much different than the British one. Both bands grew up in relatively the same situation listening to the same music. Brits tend to view Canadians more like Americans but that's simply not true. The only thing is the accent which really isn't as far off as the american accents. Alexisonfire, before they were big, put on the best hardcore shows ever. So intense.
