  • I had a picture of the one named Oliver Cromwell on my wall (70013..I rememebr that number to this day!)...well, a picture of how it used to/was going to look. At the time they were still fixing it up.

  • I grew up on the outskirts of Loughborough. This train line went past the bottom of our garden.

    Not lived there for over 20 years...thanks for helping the nostalgia along. :)

    I loved the steam trains as a kid. I also used to love to put pennies on the line so they'd get flattened...best of all was when (almost every summer) it would set fire to the grass on the bank adjoining our garden and I'd get to have a good look at, and sit within, a fire engine :D
