In my opinion, it kinda fits, hahaha. You know how some horror/action movies have those sort of ironic up-beat/oldies songs for endings or ominous parts?
It seems like your "Inappropriate Soundtracks" are more "Hilariously Appropriate" or "Ironically Appropriate" - otherwise they wouldn't be that funny haha
You should do The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, when Leatherface is hanging the girl on the meathook or when he kills Franklin with the chainsaw OR when Sally is mentaly torturerd with the dinning table home at the Sawyers!
Haha, i love these. they aren't funny in a idiotic or disjointed way either. i find them very tounge-in-cheek because it actually matches the scenes sometimes, and it wouldn't have felt totally out of place in the actual movie (well, okay, maybe it would, but it would have been awesome, haha)
I find this incredibly fitting and ironic, as this song was most famously used for the nuclear doomsday scene in Dr. Strangelove, Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb; whereas killing the Terminator represents stopping such an event.
Actually, this is an extremely appropriate song for the Terminator. Basically, as the movie ends Sarah's managed to kill the robot that was chasing her and give humanity hope for the future, but the war that Kyle Reese talked about is still coming. She *will* meet the machines again, and it won't end well for anybody.
Combined with the fact that this song is most famous for playing over scenes of nuclear Armageddon in Doctor Strangelove and it perfectly fits the themes that this movie ended on.
I would have thought that you would've used a song that says something about having a crush on someone. But I guess this song refers to the sequel huh?
LOL, funny all right but I would've taken the scene at the police station massacre & had it be to Tiny Tim's song (forgot the exact name) played in Spongebob
@Boonehams I hope when these videos inevitably get removed either because of the video or the audio, you'll counter-claim and assert your Fair Use rights
You're so skilled with sound editing, I thought I might suggest that this would be funnier if you made the sound tinny, as if it was being played from the Terminator's internal speaker.
And yeah, there's been times where I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat wondering how things could be improved that way. Thing is, if I make it like it was coming from the Terminator (tinny sound, tape distortion at the end as it dies out, etc.), I'd have to end the song at right when it's crushed, but I like how it plays out when the song goes longer. Good suggestion, though, and you aren't alone in thinking that!
Though because the termination isn't fully crushed you could have it cough and splutter back on and off, but i like this man iv seen a lot of your videos now and your superb, ^^
@Boonehams Actually, you could start it Tinny, as if its coming from the Terminator, and then once the Terminator is destroyed, desolve the "Tinny filter" away and have the track continue. Diagetic sound that becomes NonDiagetic. Sound editors and Directors do this trick all the time. A guy will be listening to a song on the radio, and then it'll cut to the next scene but the song continues to play uninterrupted.

If you were to do that, YouTube would take it down due to Viacom having the copyright to that song (believe me, I tried). But not a bad suggestion!

Maybe they've renewed it now since there's a video of Tiny Tim's song to Monty Python's the Ministry of Silly Walks skit

The only time he ever really wanted music that he would kill for to be in his movies was when he made Titanic with Celine Dion.
Now, he's asked Leona Lewis to sing a song exclusively for AVATAR & she's hesitant for some reason & he's pretty pissed off
SeanConnery9000 2 years ago
You should've started the music sooner & it would've been way funnier.
Plus, you used something way too subtle. I would've laughed if it had been over-the-top music like Metal or Pop
