i love this song a grew up listen to john fogerty my dad all ways played this in his truck brings back so many memorys im 23 now this song dont never get old
John C. Fogerty you sir are an enigma wrapped in a musical riddle, on one side of an l.p. one can find a sweet tune like this closing one side while the other side contains "Violence Is Golden", both are good tunes mind you, but, really J.C. who the HELL are you?
I grew up listening to CCR and discovered this song in my young adult years, and it has been one of my favorites since....there's a sweet happiness and peace about it. thanks!
This and "Someday Never Comes" are two of my all time favorite songs. John and CCR were, and still are some of the most influential musicians ever. So glad we still have this great music to listen to.
this surprises me. in fact, 14 years earlyer, Stu Cook (Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty played there also) made a song called: SAIL AWAY. it was included in their Mardi Gras album...
thanks for that,love it.
