Apparently one reason bloopers of old stuff is hard to find is that they did what they could to save film, which was pretty expensive early on (or else they were just trying to save money on film). Notice when Bogart asks someone offscreen "Can you pick it up?". Or the scene where they restart right away.

I was watching Key Largo the other day, I couldn`t believe how well that was filmed, it was like a digital camera did it but in black and white. It looked like it was done 2 seconds ago, just clear as hell but it was a movie filmed almost 70 years ago. The close ups were insane, Lauren Bacall only 23years old and she looked like any other young girl who could have been filmed a day ago.
