When EVO came out, we were hoping it would be like an MR5; however, I dont know why, but it didnt turn the interest in my friends. They never played MR from there on. I bought the game, but I played alone :(.
@Ynnor4009 we did. i know for a fact that the first 2 came out on ps1 in the uk, because i rented the 1st one from blockbuster and saw the 2nd one in toys r us when i was a kid. wether any others did or not i'm unsure of
@pinbac92 Really, you should change that info on wikipedia then, cause on there it states: "In Europe (and other PAL locations) Monster Rancher 2 is the first release in the series and is thus named Monster Rancher."

LOL. It was so trippy, I put in my "Resident Evil: Degeneration" disk and I got some weird zombie monster :O

Evo seems to be where MR turns into the wrong direction. I like MR4 more than this one.

This is an excellent introduction, very very well done, for an excellent game.
It's tricky to get the hang of but then gets incredibly fun. <3
Plus, you start out with a Piroro. Yay!
