My senior class is taking a trip to NYC in March (Almost a month away) and I have been looking for places like this. Hopefully I'll be able to visit places like this when there! Thank you!
Great video! I heard in the beginning that it was focused on NYC, so not really applicable in Seattle, but it was still a great video. You folks should come out west to our little city and see what it has to offer :-) Peace!
i finally tried tokoyaki (octopus) and the calpico drink thx to you guys it was great! i never knew these spots were in the east village and that jas mart is pretty cool i'm gonna visit there more often. thx again!!
@TUNERJDM Great!! glad you liked them and were able to make it down to the east village. There's fantastic Japanese food all throughout nyc, but down near st. marks it's certainly very condensed. Takoyaki and Calpico (calpis) can be an acquired taste, but I've grown to really like them and all the other japanese drinks/snacks you can find. Keep watching! We'll try to get to some more food places along the way!
This is fantastic! Love the totoros in the background.
You should try kewpie mayo. It's the mayo the Japanese love to put on just about everything, and it has a distinctive flavor quite different from "normal" American mayo. Yum.
Also, that Peach Calpis in the background while you're looking at the drinks? Exquisite. I love Peach Calpis.
Hi Kristen, I was writing a response but I think I sent you a video response instead by mistake. Anyway, I think we studied Japanese together at the Japan society and just wanted to say hi and that I enjoyed the video! Great job! よくやりましたね!
really dig your ink!

I liked the video, but the constant soft focus was annoying.

Kewpie mayonnaise is the best in the world, much much better than American mayonnaise(s).

fantastic footage, video editing is great for the most part, but please, for the love of god, give Kristen a microphone. I can't hear her.
