Well I can see why they waited till the end of the show's run to show this. If the network had opened the series with this it would've been cancelled alot quicker. I only caught the occassional episode when it originally ran (I think because this ran opposite the Greatest American Hero) but I remember the show being alot more action oriented than this.
Peter wasn't burned in the pilot, but in the next filed episode (Jackal) with Lou Gossett, Jr., the scene in the auto yard when Float starts the fires.
