  • nice capture...wouldn't surprise me if the Mink was actually 'sizing up' the Blue Heron, they are ferocious little creatures(talking from experience:)...thanks for the share my friend

  • @DAWL01 Thank you, David! I think, you are right, because I've heard heron screaming before I came to film him. So, he might be lucky this time. Thank you for taking your time to watch my videos. :)

  • This is fantastic. I had never heard the sounds made by a groundhog

before. An excellent nature video with "joyful" music background.

  • @DesertDriver100 Thank you very much for your wonderful comment! I'm happy that you like it. The whistling groundhog is my favorite piece and I never heard him before too - only when I was filming him. That was awesome experience. Wishing you a happy weekend, my dear friend. :O)

  • Ha, that's funny, Mink is a guy's name here, so I was wondering who the h*ll is Mink, and where IS he, I don't see anyone! :-o But yeah, finally I spotted the mink ;-)

  • @johvdz Thanks so much, dear Jan! I'm glad that you found the Mink...:) I'm coming from San Francisco with so much footage that I'm not sure I have all the Minks put nicely together...:) I hope I'll figure out how to post them in nice sequence...Have a happy weekend, my dear friend. I'll catch with the friends videos next week hopefully...:O)

  • @TheSallerZone Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, dear Saci! I'm happy that you liked my video...Sorry for the delay - I was in San Francisco and have so much beautiful footage to share. Have a happy weekend, my dear friend. :)

  • More awesome bee footage! And that mink had a great view of the heron...I think I saw a video camera in his paws:D To bad you couldn't get closer to the mink...but that cute groundhog made up for it! The music was perfect...captures that 'winters coming' suspense:)

  • @seahue Hi David! Thank you very much for your lovely and funny comment! :) The mink did fools of both of us - the heron and me. He was irritating the heron for quite some time and the heron was screaming at him. I did not see the mink either, because he was camouflaged so well with the soil...poor me...:) So did the whistling groundhog - I thought it was a bird and could not find any, until I get close to his burrow, but in the end the video came out fine...:O) Have a happy days and filming.

  • Hi dear , I visited your video again..Wish I could bring your whistling Groundhog close to me so that I could admire it and film...hehe..

Superb capture and many many thanks for you :0)

With love and best wishes -Menu

  • @lmmsl Thank you so much, my dear Menu!...:)))) It is surprising to me that you do not have these animals in your land...It was definitely my good luck to get him whistling and be so close to him to film it...:) I've seen them a lot, but usually they run away quickly as they see people. This one let me do a lot...:) Have a happy week, my dear Menu.

    Love, my35Xvision

  • @ShereKhan77 Thanks, my dear friend! :) Yes, I always remembered about the Mink, but I've seen it the very first time. I'd love to see this animal much closer, but hey, thanks for that...:)

  • @my35Xvision mink are so fast.he moved away from the herron because the herron will attack the mink.i seen one lighter colored on and 2 others that were close to black.i will also tell you i think i seen a fisher they are in the weasel family i think.they are much larger close to the size of a fox and the same color as a fox.

  • @ShereKhan77 Wow, So you think we also have a fisher here...I'll be on a lookout, if I will be so lucky to see one...

  • It was a good move by you to show the Mink with direction bubble and it helped us to spot it. Beautiful garden area and the bees buzz was a pleasure to hear for me and it is as if I saw it in real.An excellent capture by you with the Monarch Butterfly. The Groundhog has a very cute & innocent face and never knew it was such a beautiful animal :) You are truly lucky to catch his call and I dont know how to describe how much I liked it. From the start it is really worth watching.Superb & unique :)

  • @lmmsl Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, my dear Menu! I'm happy you liked the video and that it was like real experience. I actually heard this call of a groundhog the first time myself. I thought it was a bird and went to look for it, but discovered the burrow of the groundhog. I was thrilled to find him there - it wasn't easy...the guy was hidden under the cypress tree pretty well with branches low to the ground...I wish you a wonderful week, my dear Menu. Love, my35Xvision.

  • @5random1 Thank you very much for your wonderful and detailed comment, my dear friend! I actually can tell you, that the Heron was very irritated and screamed a lot, then he flied from one area to this, where I filmed him later together with the Mink. So, he probably new the trouble and it was going on for awhile...The Groundhog whistle I thought it was some bird first - could not find any and then I discovered this one whistling. The red light I have on the back, so the insects can't see it. :)

  • Such a beautiful video! It always gives me great pleasure to watch your videos! The beginning of the video is funny with the Mink ;o)) Wish you a great week!!!

  • i like this a lot. a good mix - colorful moving things that make noise always light me up.

  • @floydstinkyboy Thank you very much, dear Floyd! I'm really happy, that you liked it. Yes, I love those buzzing things on bright flowers, where everything around is starting to look duller...I loved to catch the Mink too. I've heard that we have them around in our area but never seen them; and the whistling groundhog was very cute thing too... I actually seen him doing it, especially in his burrow, the very first time. So, it was a combination of things that made this video interesting. :O)

  • I would have thought the heron would fear the Mink. But it does not look scared. You have captured the two wonderfully. Well done my dear friend!

  • @mbhsug Thank you very much for your kind words, my dear friend! I'm happy that you liked it and wishing you a wonderful week, my dear. :O)

  • @tarinou49 Thanks a lot for your lovely comment, dear Monique! I actually also feel the whistle of the Groundhog in his burrow is the best from all the video. I've heard him first time myself and thought at first it was a bird...Have a wonderful week, my dear friend. :O)
