  • @MatthewJLeming Hey thanks i remember now :D

  • like if u felt his legs break.

  • @Eternalnorm17 I feel it every time I see this scene

  • Now if Salv would have landed on his head, he'd be dead, and Batman would have broken his rule. Why not just smash his knee Batman? It would have had the same effect, and a 100% guarantee he'd be alive.

  • @chuggyman1 yes, but he had a badass line in mind and the action was required.

  • Anyone else think his name is close to Salvatore Leone?

  • Who's the girl Eric Roberts/Sal Maroni's is with?? She's hot.

  • @Joecbg100

  • The look on Maroni's face when he first sees Batman. Priceless.

  • The only scene in Nolan's Batman, where there were lots of neon.

  • @qwuezalothus Haha, I get the reference.

  • best fight in the movie!

  • Eric Robert's performance in this film is so underrated. He's so awesome.

  • @ShadesAtKnight

Even he was - in this movie.

  • 0:20 i heard that guys arm snap, OWCH!!!

  • "IAARGAHAGHJHS WAGSJDANT THAGFGHH JOAGHKERR!!!!"

  • I LOVE the Dark Knight, but I wish the film wasn't so dark, I don't mean the tone of the movie, I mean literally, sometimes its hard to see what exactly is going on.

  • Love this scene!!!

  • "Can't we go some place quieter? We hear each other talk."

"What makes you think I wanna hear you talk?"

    "WHAT?!"

    haha I love this movie.

  • hahaha...that douchebag was stupid enough to challenge Batman.

  • Batman storms into the club! loud music! throws guy off ledge! kicking! punching! there's backup! watch out for that bottle! grabs maroni! ....SLOW DRAMATIC LIFT

  • You gotta love the "oh SHIT" moment that crosses Maroni's face when he realizes exactly what Bats is planning on doing.

  • Damn.. and he had a good freeflow up until :20, but then at :23 he gets a Weapon Disarm Takedown, how the hell di- OH WAIT, he's the Goddamn Batman. Nevermind, guys

  • @MagnumP88 Haha nice one. Batman does the same move to guys armed with bottles in Arkham City. I was really happy the first time I did it.

  • @dissention117 loll it's so satisfying

  • @dissention117 haha the take downs!!!yeah i can relate to that

  • I love how the fall completely cripples Salvatore Maroni yet Batman just jumps down no problem and goes ape shit

  • They should have some one do metalcore vocals for batman voices.........

  • any one know what the song title of the music in the club is? XD

  • @altermarvin21 "Scatterin Monkey" by "Boom Boom satellites"

  • i like this Batman yelling at people.

  • Batman just wants them to play better music.

  • 0:21 hitting a glass bottle at Batman isn't gonna stop him, it just makes him WORSE

(sigh) when will thugs ever learn?

  • i hate when im in the club, it always goes down like this... ppl need to leave me alone when im tryna get my dance on :)

  • I also love this scene its like he's pissed and says in his heads "Ok theres three vents that lead-FUCK THIS SHIT IM THE GODDAMN BATMAN!!!"

  • RAVER BATMAN!

  • "From this height, the fall wouldn't kill me."

    "I'm counting on it." *drop*

    god this movie is badass

  • I love maroni's "Whoa"

when he realizes whats happening like oh shit he really did it

  • I love to imagine that the bouncer outside the club said, "That's $10 cover, please" and Batman was all like, "SWEAR TO ME!" and decked him before walking in there.

  • OMG!!!!! MORONI'S GIRLFRIEND IS MANDY FROM HOLLYOAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MILF ALERT..!!! LOL..!!!

  • god help whoever he does want to talk to.

  • I always wanted to see Batman fight within a club somewhere.

  • Soo I'm guessing Batman just walked in the club like nothing?

  • Great choreography, is this an existing martial art?

  • @tigemata Ya, it's a new martial art called KFM

  • @tigemata Its called the Keysi Fighting Method

  • the coolest fight scene of TDK

  • Although the Schumacher films were pretty crummy, I will say this.

One thing I loved about those films is that Batman not only made awesome entrances which usually involved him breaking through some ceiling or window, but he also wasn't shy of standing in a huge crowd of people at some sort of party/event/club/what have you to kick some villain's ass.

I love this scene because it definitely has a bit of that feel to it. I want to see more of Batman kicking ass in settings like this.

  • @MiDSinister what about the joker crashing party scene, batman kicks ass in front of everyone!

  • @MiDSinister the reason you dont see that more is because a very large part of his staying power is the fear of him that people have; not knowing what rumors are true or false, what he looks like, or if he's even real. you can't maintain that aura of fear by constantly smashing through windows and posing in bright light where everyone can see what you look like.

  • @friendlycakeasaurus

Very true, but I think the scenarios in which he would do that would make sense when say he was pushed over the edge to a point that he HAS to make himself visible. Like if there is a threat so urgent that he has to just rush into it. Much like the Harvey Dent fundraiser scene with Joker and his thugs.

  • @MiDSinister yeah this is true

  • @MiDSinister there's a scene, or plenty i think, in the dark knight rises where Bane and Batman will fight on the street so i think you'll love that scene and the whole movie

  • "Friends? Have you met this guy?"

  • Batman kicked everyone's ass in this scene, but lets be honest Maroni freaking BURNED Batman at the end of this scene. Even with a mask on you can tell how guilty Bruce felt after hearing Maroni said that. He hit him where it really hurts. Gotta give the man props.

  • This is what happens when and unstoppable force a bunch of generic thugs.

  • 1 dislike: Sal Maroni

  • @Jpeacediamond SHUT THE FUCK UP TOOOOOL make up your own joke!

  • @Jpeacediamond 2 more : The Chechen and Scarecrow.

  • Change the title you bastard his name is "Salvatore" or just "Sal"

  • @MrMUSCAT908 damn.....relax? lol

  • YESSS! FIRST TIME HE USES THE BAT GLARE!! XD

  • Reminds me of the night club scenes in Batman the Animated Adventures and Batman Beyond

  • just wondering : isn't he helding maroni at gun point ? it seems he has something in his hand and I was thinking maybe he snatched one of the gun from the goons and the director want to suggest a very brief moment where he's gone total berserk and he might do it ...

  • @nedalnekbrad I think those are twin batarangs tucked together, similar to the position he held Ras in at the end of Begins.

  • if i were batman i would have slapped that dude. And probably broke his arms and any other bone that would bring him pain.

  • Does Batman know how to party or what?

  • I've always wondered what is the thing that batman is pointing to Maroni while he picks him up in the club?

  • i love salvatore's "wow" before he falls LOL

  • Damn dude, when his legs broke in the theater it felt like mine did too

  • i'm counting on it....

  • @parit1081 he just go HAM 24/7

  • What makes you think I wanna hear you talk? Thats right Sal, put that woman in her place. Get her in the kitchen while you're at it.

  • Batman disco! Very cool! How was it?

  • I don't say that I hate this scene. There's just one thing that bothers me with it. It's not the fact that it felt inconsistent to the rest of the movie, it's just that Batman fight for so long time, so Maroni could easily just have escaped. Instead, he just sits there and waits.

  • @Arman88 Look at his face when Batman interrogates him, he was confident all the time, he believed that Batman has so much rules so he wouldnt hurt him, that's why this scene is so awesome, because it showed that Batman doesnt have SO much mercy with criminals, Besides, Maroni probably knew that Batman would catch him anyway

  • @elchacal31 Yeah, but they could've at least show him being confident, just for one shot during the fight.

  • @Arman88 that's what i'm saying, maroni was too confident, in other words, he didnt had fear, But Batman showed him the real meaning of FEAR

  • @elchacal31 First Encunter Assult Recon ?

  • He sat there because there wasn't any point for him. As far as Batman is concerned, Maroni knew he wasn't going to escape so he may as well just hope his men finishes the bat off (which didn't happen). Basically, with the way Batman was ripping through his men, he had 1 out of 100 chance of escaping. So it was not really surprising that he just sat there as it was just music to him.

  • oh look its mandy out of hollyoaks lol

  • The only neon-Batman-scene in Nolan's Batman-universe. Interesting.

  • "I'm counting on it." Badass.

  • Also, press 5

    xD

  • This makes me want to play Arkham Asylum

  • 0:04 'What makes you wanna think I wanna hear you talk' makes me laugh everytime.

  • If you are going to get into a fistfight with Batman, first ask yourself how much you like hospital food.

  • COME AT ME BRO!

  • He cracked the bottle over Batman's head first time I saw that.

  • a fall from this height won't kill me

I'm counting on it (Drops him)

    batman is awesome

  • the voice isn't so bad with a ton of bass added... but it's forced and horrible just hearing it with regular speakers lol

  • "a fall wont kill me", "am counting on it" "ough......arghhhhh" "ankle clicks" lol

  • what makes u think i want to hear u talk? what?

  • @DHeroDogmaPS3 lol best response ever. also the fall wont kill him, later u hear "click"

  • Loved Eric in The Pope of Greenwich Village, Runaway Train & Best of the Best. Great Actor!

  • The first time that I see this scene I was fricking amazed... Batman throwed maroni and broke his legs, this is the real comic bad ass batman... learn something from nolan u motherfucker Schumacher

  • Why the fuck would someone try to fight Batman? You might as well just kick your own ass.

  • When I first watched this movie on opening night, this scene really shocked me. Batman....IN A TECHNO NIGHT CLUB!?!?! I love it!

  • Batman won't get his 5000 Perfect Knight Bonus.

  • epic....fail 0:48

  • "From this height, fall wouldn't kill me."

    "I'm counting on it."

  • This is how Batman dance. Beating the shit out of criminals.

  • Haha "If you're trying to scare me, choose a better spot. From this height, fall wouldn't kill me" "I'm counting on it" [drops maroni] AAAAAAh!!

  • Definitely my favorite fight scene in the movie; awesome to see Batman fight in a night club. The editing in this fight was better than the rest.

  • Don't take some bullshit talk about "letting" people die from that piece of shit gangster at 1:26, all those people in TDK irritated the shit out of me. "Oh nooo all of these people are dying because of Batman." Batman didn't cause anyone's death. The Joker did. And why did everyone actually believe if Batman revealed his identity that Gotham would be safe from the Joker. Joker is a killer, he is going to kill, he's killed before and he won't stop killing.

  • @vamphunterx

    people are stupid!!!

  • @vamphunterx yea, lets be realistic! joker would probably kill them after he unmasked for the fun of it!!

  • @vamphunterx It was in keeping with the idea Joker had that people are basically bastards that will sell out anyone if it means saving their skin. To quote an oldie but a good one, "Evil men succeed when good men do nothing." And I'm sorry, but chasing a murdering madman down and dragging him to jail is not the same as doing nothing, even if you refuse to kill him.

  • @vamphunterx

Of course. The Joker was meant to be an allegory for terrorism, in part.

  • @vamphunterx its because gotham is a very devoloped ghetto

  • @vamphunterx exactly, same thing pissed me off. One of the reasons i prefer Michael Keaton's Batman

  • @vamphunterx This is what Harvey wanted to stay

  • @vamphunterx Exactly, and why do they think the joker wants Batman out of the game? so that things can go back the way they were where people get killed my mobs for standing up against them so they can prey on the desperates again! Joker was right, they need batman now , but when they don't , they'll cast him out and hate on him. I guess the joker knew batman wouldn't take his mask off, all these he was just trying to make a point to batman of how alone he really is.

  • @vamphunterx You're right. The Joker's a sadist and would have kept his rampage no matter what Batman did. I love TDK, but the people in there were ridiculous.

  • @vamphunterx same thing as negoating with the terrorist some people belive if you talk with the terrorist they will respect you thats simply not true

  • I love when batman says" Were is HE!!" so foruios!

  • '' friends? have you met this guy ?! ''

  • shit, i like the cracking sound haha!! batman is so badass

  • I LOVE THIS scene!!! He doesn't go stealth or anything it's "HERE I AM MOTHER FUCKERS COME N GET ME!"

  • I detest this scene in retrospect.

TDK logic: OH HEY, guy is BEATING THE CRAP out of your MOOKS. Hmm... how do we stop him? Hmm, exit door, gun... no... AH! HERE'S A GOOD IDEA! Send TWO MORE MOOKS at him, sit there and watch with a smug grin while he takes THEM APART AS WELL.

  • And let's face it.

Keaton-Batman wouldn't even waste time with the Mooks, he'd just start bitchslapping people over the railing. :p

  • @terrorofsesameST How much can you blend in inside a club when you're dressed like a bat?

  • Actually, this is probably the best fighting scene in the movie. Bare-bone brutal...nothing fancy, but more like the Dark Knight should be.

  • @HerculesTAK Nothing fancy? what you mean by that? I mean every fighting scene in the new batman movies are awesome just like this one

  • @darkairaxandrew I think by nothing fancy he just meant that it was a straight up fight scene with no tricks, flying through the air, or crazy gadgets. Just a good ol' fashion ass kicking.

  • great quality! amazing scene! batman is brutal!
