@metorgodforall - Yes, this video is for greenhorns. You have a valid point about dust/debris and yes it will affect accuracy, but my high school students use this all the time to learn how to use the dial indicator and they are greenhorns.
don't forget that you MUST give a VERY slight tap every time you zero out the indicator. Don't forget to mention dust/debris. This video isn't for green horns.
