hey I know this is the first comment but here's one point that might speed up your game time - whenever you are jumping down from platforms, don't jump up or just go down, as soon as you leave the platform spin yourself as you are going down, you'll notice you go down faster, also using wall jumps speeds up things tremendously this also includes getting items as well.

You are right, that will save me some time. Thank you for the tip, I will use it in other metroid videos, once I get to the metroid series.
