An interesting application, but it should be noted in a real fight there's no where near THAT much room to throw out fancy moves. Just because it's called street fighter does not mean you can perform such moves in a street fight. A real fight is dirty and quick and doesn't end when the time runs out, but when you are dead! As will smith once put it ; "don't start nothin' won't be nothin'! " Still looks fun to do.

sho ryu karate does not have the moves in this video couse they would just side step and do a real shoryuken and its done with your wrist toghether with an open palm punch using the strengt in your legs body and arms + your whole weight sending shit flying!

btw shoryuken means dragon-punch and have very little with jumping knee kicks to do in the first place lol

It's mostly a joke. But SFII had come out when I was in High School, and I knew this Chinese guy (you know how they're like) who said Ryu and Ken's SHORYUKEN was slightly different - if I remember what he said, Ryu's uppercut could hit four times, while Ken's could do only three, but Ken's had better horizontal range. I wasn't a SF pro, plus I don't want to argue with an East Asian guy about SF any more than I want to argue with Asians about chop sticks.

Theres more differences than that. Ryu's Shoryu ussually only hits once or twice. Only his shin Shoryu hits four times. Kens can hit anywhere from 1-4. But his shinryuken or Shoryu Reppa hit a lot more. Plus Kens has fire, lol.

Irl, this is a very useful and effective move. It's only a bit situational, for example when your opponent is held in place by one or two friends of yours or when he can barely stand on its feet from a previous beating with real fighting moves.
