That is one loyal dog because it should have bit the griffin arm of you! I'm literally watching thic with my mouth open. You should have gave the poor thing some peace.
How can u tell if it was a beautiful moment? her hands were practically inside the dog, you DO NOT pull on the pup, not even a tug, You do realize that is what contractions do? That pup was not stuck, it was simply coming out on natures time not ur idea of how it should be. this vid angered me. you need to think and read more. you can cause the sac to go back inside and give her sickness by pulling too. just why cant humans keep hands away to enjoy the beautiful experience? u love her but damn
my family just got a shitzu mix puppy over the weekend, and it is adorable! He's 2 months, and i am shocked our little micky went through this! it's amazing! Thanks for sharing. i've never seen dogs birth before! :P
This is my first comment on You Tube that I personally know the people in the video. Not to mention 2 of the dogs. I have never seen two people(my sister Kathy and her husband Murat) love their dogs like they do. If only other pets could be so fortunate.
The first born of the litter was Rosa. The other puppies names I am not sure. At any rate they kept Rosa... My sister drops off the dogs Abbey and Rosa around 2-3 times a week.
We took them for a walk in summer of 2010 and young girl...
We took them for a walk in summer of 2010 and young girl said of Abbey and Rosa "Oh cute look at the puppies"... So that name stuck. I tell my sister when are you dropping the puppies off... The real cool thing about that is we never lose the honey-moon with those dogs. They are always puppies to us. Abbey has this so loving look when she looks at you and I made the comment, "She's my love dove"...
I live with my mom and my brother and of course Abbey and Rosa(a couple of spoiled babies).
People who breed should think about those dogs waiting in animal shelters and the many straydogs. Also should they thing about healthtests like eyeproblems, hipproblems ect. Sure its cute...but people should breed healthy dogs without healthproblems but most people breed with a dog in the neighboorhood because they just want to have a litter of puppies.....think futher people.
that girl or women whoever she is in the video is super anoying.her vice is so weird and she is talking in that baby talk vice.the video was good but she is annoying.
Lame!! You guys should 1 learn how video and 2 leave the fucking dog alone and let her give birth on her own with you watching and not annoying the poor pooch..
I hope that the birth went well?Sorry you had too pull the puppy out thou, but that is what you have too do if they are stucked in there for too long time.
Sorry, but you were annoying the heck out of that dog. She was getting ready to lick it and pull the membrane off herself till you fiddled with her for the thousandth time. She was also getting in position to push it out herself till you fiddled again. You are supposed to let it do it on its own.
why are you moving your dog so much let it give birth with out your pestering hands touching everything and i thin you should stop helping her it can do it on its own
fuck lah u 2...the dog is getting the baby out then u all go make so much noisy..the puppy actually not die also become die...i know this things bcs my aunt open pet shop...then the dog is giving birth to the baby not u all...u make wat uhuhuh sound...
Good breeders stay with their bitches during the whole labor...if you didn't notice her tail is wagging which means she needs just as much encouragement as humans do! Its nature for them but it is very responsible to help your bitches when they are laboring, even if that means helping pull out a puppy. Dogs can get very tired from pushing most normal labor lasts 24 hours, you try to push for 24 hours and tell me how you feel?!?!?
Well Done! The owner isnt rushing the birth she is comforting the dog, If i'm honest i wouldn't keep touching her but she's just trying to help. Well Done Mum!!
I understand what you mean, but in most canine births, outside help is needed. In this situation, if the owner had not assisted, then the membrane would not have come off in time and the puppy would have had breathing problems. So thank you for your concern, but I think this breeded knows exactly what she's doing.
geez if i knew the dog was thinking i think it would be could you please stop touching me and leave me alone both of you are very annoying how could i gave birth if i couldnt concentrate.=)
do u know that hurts =( stop touching and leave it alone when she said : 'should i help her? ' the otehr guy said :'shure honey ' R U INSANE!?!? leave it alone =.=' btw cute!
Apparently these people have no experience in "assisting a dog birth". When I say assiting I mean lowering the lights, turn off the tv, quit the squealing, and hands off. Believe it or not dogs have given birth witout human intervention. Being a responsible breeder means always being there to assist if absolutly needed such an emergency. That poor dog, did you notice she pushed the pup out when you finally left her alone? The comment "Can I pull it?" did it for me. Spay your dog.its not for you.
u should never touch a dog's babies when they're first born the dog will bite you and let the dog give birth on its own! it was moving cuz u were touching the baby it will come out just leave her alone
OMG, hands off, hands off, hands off. Wish people knew about the mechanisms of birth. This dog would have birthed much easier if left in a dark room with her comforts around her and no stimulation of people talking....apologies for the criticism.
My shih tzu had 3 litters of pups (21 healthy pups in total) and we never interfered with the birthing process.
However we had the case of a puppy coming out the wrong way and we did require the vets assistance and the puppy and mother were fine.
But dogs have natural instincts and the best thing you could do is sit quietly and observe incase there is an emergency but observe without the dog noticing you too much.
The dog will take care of the cord and sac and I would recommend you give her a chance to do so.
However it can sometimes take to long with their short snout, so no harm helping to break the sac around the puppies nose and mouth if required.
For newbies: remember the mother will need as much care as the puppies and I would definitely do some research on "eclampsia" as our little lady nearly died from it a few days after giving birth (luckily we got her on time).
Best not to interfere too much while they give birth, animals have natural instincts. Although you kinda need to be there for shih tzu's cause they may not be able to open the sac surrounding the pup cause of their short snot. Our dog had 3 litters and we sat quietly and only spoke or helped if there were any problems.
Well, I wanted to breed my dog, Abbey, because I am 40 years old and never had a dog before and wanted to experience whole process and also keep one of the puppies for Abbey. I waited for two years to breed her under recommendation of our veterinarian advice. It was her first pregnancy and she had 5 puppies that were placed loving homes. My wife took of 3 weeks off from her work just stay at home and take care of puppies. We did not do for money. I really enjoyed whole process.....
