I just don't see why there are people who think Tarja is so good. I mean she's good at the style she's doing, it's not my cup of tea. I prefer Anette, Nighwish can do a lot more with her anyway. I don't like Simone from Epica very much, she just sounds kinda plain and boring. Just my opinion.

Question: What makes Tarja so great a vocalist in your opinion?

I myself can only look at her collective work and say that she's got a unique tonality. I keep trying to prove to myself that she's the best singer in all of heavy metal, but when I try to put my finger on one song exactly, nothing really comes up.

For that reason I say confidently that Simone Simons is the better vocalist, Tides of Time is the proof. Nothing, not a single thing do I have against Tarja, but Simone, holy s**t.

Saw her live in Thessaloniki,Greece a few days ago and she was just amazing.Actually I went there with a friend of mine who was a Nightwish and is a Tarja fan.The truth is that I wasn't crazy about Tarja, I used to say "Ok,she has an incredible voice,but that's all".The night I saw her live I went crazy and now I just adore her

and no offense to anyone but I like Anette and Tarja, and since Tarja isn't with Nightwish anymore I'm listening to her other songs... so long as I can hear her voice, she is indeed the angel of music...

I've got the whole gig on DVD. My parents have watched it with me for many many times and we always cry during this performance. Nightwish is this kind of band that could cover everything. YEAH, EVERYTHING. From "High Hopes" to "Phantom of the Opera". I don't like when someone or some band covers Pink Floyd or such classic ones like "Phantom.." but they're the only one who can. I salute'em.
