yeah but Malmsteen said that Goran sucks in live performances.. But he rocks in studio.. Turner is great in both cases.

@braido I don't believe he sucks so much live at all... maybe one or two average performances that are unfortunately popular songs/concerts. If you look around and find more you'll see he's an awesome performer.

This is incredible, I haven't heard Goran since his Yngwie days. He was truly incredible on the Eclipse album and he's outstanding here. I haven't got enough good words to say about his vocal abilities! Oh and 1610167, right on with thinking of Dicola here, it is totally that!!

I love the Kharma album, but prefer Gorans vocals in this version. Much more of an 80's feel to it (I'm guessing this was recorded a few years before the album). The keyboard break before the solos reminds me of Vince DiCola's Rocky IV soundtrack.

Recommend the Kharma CD though, Wonderland and Ray of Sunshine are both superb.

i just say as göran said himself.he did not think his voice was a metal screamer.like with john norum and yngwie.göran is best in bands like street talk and a little softer hardrock with keyboards like AOR stuff

He is very good in the albums but in live concerts he seemed to have very much difficulties to keep the pitch especially when singing hi notes.

By the way, Fire & Ice is still my favourite album..

Somewhere i have an old tape with all Vinne Vincent Invation songs with Göran on vocal. He did a test recording for him before the album was released with another singer.

Göran and Yngwie made a beautiful team together. Göran vocals were (are) amazing, especially when it came to those ballads, i.e., "Save Our Love." All he needs to do now is let his hair grow long again and get back with Yngwie. Plus, he's another hot looking Swede.
