Hey Uso, This is Primo from Carson I watch this and seen my uncle Feao Tupuola, how did you get that picture.. his daughters and I is just wondering. Keep up with the old music bro its cool to show our roots Faafetai
SAMOA simply translates or means "SACRED CENTER", you are indeed correct SacTownUso. my father taught me that all kings of the south pacific, generally near and about Samoa and Tonga, came through/from Manu'a. it is said in legend that Ta'u, Manu'a (the island) was the stepping stone with which TAGALOA used to step out of the heavens and onto the earth. and like this song i won't ever forget my home in Luma, but more importantly my culture. 'Le penina o le vasa'
sactownuso u just have all the songs that bring back so many memories. i loveeeee these old traditional songs. way to keep the culture alive. =] faafetai lava

hey i really like this, i always love listening to the old traditional polynesian songs without any instrumentals/beats you know all that modern extra stuff. When you listen to these old songs you remember how much history there is within the culture. Its always good to know your roots. :)
How you Tonganprodigy27 thanks for the comment Samoa & Tonga has always been connected since the beginning my culture is your culture your culture is mine.
Tui Tonga, Tui Haatakalaua & Tui Kanokupolu of Tonga are connected to Tui Manu'a, Tui Atua & Tui A'ana of Samoa.
@SacTownUso - Tongans came about in the trading mist between samoa and fijian - and fijian intermarried with some samoans and vice versa- thats why you get some islands wth straight hair and some with afro type of hair.. and a new breed with curly waive hair - the straight hair - that is the reason polynesians & melonesians have a lot in common via custom - via trade market - but fijians are children of Javan who is the son of Japheth who is the son of Noah.
woah...this makes me cry and gives me goosebumps, i believe there aint a samoan whose been to a funeral that aint maybe had this song, i love hearing the natural vocals of the elderly...love it..i love this...thanx for putting this up...amazing!
Yea same but im still in NZ. I've been to Samoa and i love it. Maybe one day you should make a trip back to the homeland. It will be a bonding experience.

Aua le worry poutit uce...It's hard for others to accept the fact that Samoa ( Sacred Center in English) is where their roots are from. It's just the prideful nature of Samoans that has been funneled down into their culture. Let them hate, because when they do, they are hating the very fabric of who they are at their core.
