My faithful old dog Henry licked up some spilled horse worm paste yesterday morning Around 2pm Henry stumbled with his hind legs but I noticed he was tremoring too. Later he was staggering my mind raced back to the worm paste! I called the vet and they said YES, worm paste can be Fatal and that he had ALL the symptoms.. he may be days or weeks recovered.
So my friends, Do Not Let Your Dog Clean Up Your Worm Paste Mess!! I had no idea....
I think your horse thinking is incredible, it really makes sense. I've been riding with ropehalter for 2years, had a pony that had bad experiences with the pessoa bit, and realized that i could use a regular three piece bit with rings or rope halter. Not only did I learn how to have soft hands when riding with ropehalter, I noticed that my pony was happy and wanted to work with me! After having the ropehalter I could ride on a bit and still have this soft hands, it's really amazing!
Hi, I've been trying to get a horse to trust ME, she trusts my Chestnut Mare but she's been abused in the past, and one thing youdon't want to do is break the trust with the horse, the mare's scared half the time when people are around and when I feed her she won't eat until my Mare eats first. What can else can I do to show her I mean her no harm,?
@Jubeyy5 Use a one reined stop, it will work the same as when you have two reins. If you don't know what a one reined stop is, look it up; it's a very helpful manuver.
awesome! My horse is doing better as well as I am now that I learned the best way to do it. lol. Im a blonde so like when I would ride with one rope would lean over his neck and grab it under his neck. xD When I could just freakin fling it around his head side to side. wow..... nice vid, thanx!!
how do I get a horse thats used to a lot of pressure from bits and leg just to make him go, to make him respond like your horse did, with the flexing and turning easily in just a halter and a lead rope? also, can you ride wiht just a rope halter and leadrope bareback?
Sure you can ride bareback with just a rope halter. Getting a horse soft is up to the rider, you have to be softer and teach horse what you want. Do lots of soft flexing and the horse will learn to give to soft pressure.
do you rider mr.t?

Hey Rick, I notice that your rope still looks as new now as it did when this was filmed. Is it a tool or a saddle ornament? ;)

I'd like to try this..but what if you ride a naturally fast horse and once you get him going he wont stop? how do you use 1 rein to stop him?

@Jubeyy5 you flex him to one side, a horse can't run forward if he is flexing his neck behind him!

My QH is VERY light reined, do you think this would be effective?
