@AscarPudel Right on, thank you. You know I thought that at first too, but now that I have them I do use them a lot, more to just stretch my legs out by resting my boot over the pegs rather than on the pegs.
@bernbo I have a cruiser, also w\platforms, but they are already so wide and low, that i scratch the ground in every tight corner, especially on crossroads :) I wonder what it gonna be if i install such a thing :) (eats 1 inch of side clearance approx. when fold :))
@AscarPudel Well something like this would probably not work in your application, if your boards are that low to begin with, I only use them on long stretches of highway.
I know you're going to laugh at me for this, but I've always wanted one on my sportbike for highway cruisin. I just have to figure out how to get it sleek and cool like yours.
Hey Spencerian, no I'm not laughing at you for this. It's amazing what a small amount of change in your leg position can make on a long ride. I wish you luck and thank you for your kind comment.
Well remember the largest seller EVER was "The Pet Rock" - If those running boards are a common item then you just invented a product".. Cha Chink! (until China starts making them that is..)
I think, when you have platforms, highway pegs are not very necessary. Nice idea though.
