  • Free energy technology exists! But Elite controllers don't want ppl to be free from the costs of energy,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Let the revolution begin!

  • thats great how some 16-17 year old guys jumped in a saved some lives.

  • A real shame that when people are told by a trained experienced Pilot that there is insufficient fuel to reach Australia, that they don't and won't listen. A tragedy that should never ever have happened. So close to shore yet so far away as far as survivable incidents goes.

  • The 1990 China airliner crash should have been a wakeup call to strengthen doors. The 1996 Ethiopian crash yet again failed to be the true wakeup call. Same with the Indian Airlines hijack. Why is it that 9/11 had to be the hijack that finally ended the high profile hijackings?

There was no conspiracy; there was negligence.

  • Its because if we would of invaded the countries that we did after 9/11 the general public would of been against it and probably said "there is no terroist threat". Some are still saying that. Its amazing how naive people can be.

  • No, it was because the airlines were lulled into a false sense of security; they thought that hijackers generally would put in negotiations (never mind that people were killed during these hijackings) - There was plenty of time to strengthen cockpit doors, and nothing happened until 9/11.

Granted the US government was licking its chops to get Iraq, but it didn't let 9/11 happen to go after Iraq. 9/11 was from a failure of US government agencies to cooperate and share data.

  • Ethiopian Air Line is one of the best Air lines in Africa and,the world and we train our own pilots from pvt to ATP we even train other african pilots look how Capt Abatte went through difficult time,he got hijacked three tmes 4 god sake it is no't a movie,i have agreat respect 4 him as well 4 all felow pilots in the world and,god bless!

  • havent heard of it. sorry.

  • Of the airline? ET is considered to be among the best airlines of Africa and of the developing world.

  • i think its lovely wen ppl all come together to help those in need. assures us that the world isnt as shitty as they make out to be...

  • i know some one who survived the crush.we worked together at the nairobi hilton.

  • I remember the couple who shot this footage. Made tens of thousands of dollars for selling it after peddling it round to the various broadcasting agencies. Ghastly people.

  • Now, is it such a bad thing to sell footage to a news company?

  • A bit grubby to try to make the maximum profit from the deaths of others, don't you think?

  • Would you say the same about a company that makes an award winning documentary about the disaster? (Not a non-profit group -- a company)

I think it would be truly detestable if a person causes a disaster or neglects to prevent one to make money - - Also if the video filmers hamper the rescue and recovery operations, then it would be detestable. Otherwise, I'm honestly unsure...

  • I remember seeing this amateur footage before which reinforces the magnatude of the event.

A tragedy that should NEVER have occured and all for the want of someones greed and selfishness. May those that lost their lives and this incident never be forgotten. It could easily happen again.

  • That particular one wouldn't happen again in exactly the same way because 9/11 required strengthened cockpit doors.

  • That is so sad the idiots attempting this hijacking did not believe the pilots telling them they were running out of fuel.

    So sad!

    LOOTING OF VICTIMS?!!

And why on earth is a Comoros Island airport named Moroni? PLEASE don't tell me it's Mormon-owned! (gaaaag!)

  • How do you know the victims were looted? In fact the divers saved the lives of the survivors.

And the airport is actually Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport. Moroni is the capital, Nanette.

  • wack
