  • If you can get it, try North Coast Old Stock Ale.

  • @bunkernate Unfortunatley i do not get any North Coast beers, but i would love to try some, especially their Old Rasputin. Cheers!

  • great review as always, never new how small the population was over there, you have good football team tho

  • Thanks! Yeah we are only around 5,5 mill, but that is correct hehe :-P

  • Hey could you do a review on Hobgoblin please? Review the canned version if you can because it has lots more taste than the bottled version. Strange I know but it's true.

  • I am actually gonna do a review of hobgoblin, but i can only get the botteled version though. But i have had both, i just can't recall how the canned one was like, since its been awhile. Cheers and thanks for watching!

  • You're right, this is almost nothing like an "old ale," it's much closer to an amber ale. I liked the piney hops and the crisp body.

We seemed to have the same opinion (more or less) on this beer.

    great review!!

    PS video response?

  • Thanks! Yeah, amber ale would actually fit well as the style of this beer. Cool, sure i will make it a video response! Cheers!

  • Dang man, I can't believe you even get Southern Tier. That's so amazing.

If you could get the Pumking at all, I HIGHLY recommend it. I would recommend the regular Unearthly over the Oak Aged version though.

  • @yuichituba I couldn't agree more! It IS weird that he can get ST in Denmark but you can't get it in Cali!

  • Yeah hehe :-) Also that Denmark is the only country in Europe that gets ST is pretty cool! The only ST i can get right now (that i haven't got in my beer fridge) is Hop Sun and Iniquity Imperial Black Ale. Thanks for watching man! Cheers!

  • I would say old stock ale from north coast is more of your classic old ale. I cant get beers from this brewery here in Phoenix Arizona USA. but the north coast old stock ale is very good. from what I have seen most of the big high abv beers from ST are good.

  • Cool. If i see it i will get it! Yeah me too, i have got a couple to review! Cheers man and thanks for watching!

  • no problem, I like your reviews, you seem to know a lot about beer! and that is always a good thing!

    Cheers to you as well.

  • Thanks man! Well i do know something, at least on an amateur connoisseur level (as chad calls it). :-P

  • north america is a much younger continent then europe.for all things-not just beer-u need to keep this in mind when comparing "old"

  • personal note;ur music t-shirts are cool, but now that u r getting serious w/these beer reviews,do u think it is time to go to some danish brew pubs and pick up some t-shirts!?

  • Can get a few, and the ones i can get looks really sucky, i don't think would use them that much but yeah i got to represent. But still i like just keeping everything casual :-P Cheers!

  • Btw about danish beer and all. Im probably gonna review all the canditates for the best beer from denmark in 2009 i can get ahold of! Cheers!

  • I know. Are you reffering to me using the term Old Ale as a style or?
