This guy had "IT" . . . looks, charm and excitment on the ice . . . was never boring to watch . . . R.I.P. . . . "BOWMAN THE SHOWMAN!!" Such an appropriate name for him . . .
I think he was a mixture of blazing talent and emotional instability. Such passion, such grace...when he had some control but even in his best performances, he looked in danger of falling over the edge...or falling down. He threw his heart into his skating but lacked the ability to stick to a schedule - and then there were the girls and the drugs. So sad, such talent, now gone.
What a beautiful performance. Heartbreaking to loose him. I bet he was a great person. Condolences to all his loved ones. Thanks for sharing him with us.
He's the most beautiful skater that ever graced the ice. This routine is sublime. Christ you were the greatest and will be missed more than you know.
Was both angry and sad, watching the men's finals last night at Nationals, that NBC did not feature any sort of tribute to Christopher--nor was his name mentioned once by either Dick Button or Scott Hamilton. I would have liked to see some footage on this two time national champion, two time world medalist, and two time Olympian who brought so much joy to his fans and to the sport. Glad we have at least some of his great performances on youtube--thanks again for posting this.
Just beautiful! I'd forgotten how handsome Chris was and how wonderful to watch. He was incredibly talented and hopefully, in the end, his talent will be emphasized and remembered more than his struggles with drugs.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful program. I never saw him skating before and this is absolutely exquisite. What a loss. So much talent, so much charisma. RIP Christopher.
Chris, I still miss you. You had such talent but there were so many parent figures and not a single one stepped up to the plate for you. <3

Christopher Bowman was the most talented skater to ever lace up a pair of skates.

Sad sad. He was very talented and I am so sorry for the news this week. I hope he's remembered fondly for all the good things.

I'd never seen this. A very different side of him. You can see the talent so clearly.
