Fair enough. Such is the BCS. Good teams get screwed out of the chance to play while fans get screwed out of seeing the best game and are left wondering (and occasionally violently arguing) "what if it had been USC (or any other top team)?" As a Gator fan I could say all day that they could have beaten USC that year too, but the truth is that not I nor anyone else will know for sure. And that just sucks.

@g8orman83 USC is overrated? SEC=big dawgs? When Arkansas went to the SEC championship game in either 06 or 07, USC beat them 70-17. When Auburn was ranked #6 in the nation in 2003, USC played @ Auburn and won 23-0. Even UCLA went to Tennessee and beat them. SEC=big dawgs? Lol, Florida isn't the only one who can beat Oklahoma in a title game. USC won 55-19 in 2005, and that was when OU had Adrian Peterson and a Heisman QB.

Don't act like USC can't hang with the SEC. USC is better. Bitch.

@atm8705 Historically, yeah, USC has been pretty good. And a decade ago the SEC was about even with most major conferences. But right now the SEC IS the premier conference. 4 straight national titles from three different teams, and the fact that even those teams had to fight for most of their conference victories means yeah, as of the past several years, the SEC is THE top conference.

My argument is that (until this year) USC was as good or better as/than any SEC team. They proved it against Auburn and Arkansas when those teams were playing well, should've played LSU in 2007/08, and should've played Florida in 2008/09. USC's run is over and they're looking to start over again now, but for those few years, SC was better than the SEC.

Harvin was an intrigal part of the Gator offense. We still lost 4 games in 07 with him. All I'm saying is no 1 player could make or break the Gators. We won in 06 with Chris Leak. We won in 08 with great Defense, Tebow and Harvin, Hernandez, Murphy, Nelson, Cooper and the great backs. A total team effort.

We lost in 07 because our defense was very weak. Now Major Wright is playing better and we got rid of The Jenkins that was a freshman is alot better replacement. Also hayden played corner and he never played corner so he basically had to learn as a freshman.
